My dog had a litter of 12 and it's her first. I was wondering how long does it take before the pups open their eyes?

Before you become a BREEDER, you should know the basics like that. Otherwise you are just a backyard breeder with out much knowledge.

10 days and 12 for their eyes to open and about 16 before they start to walk around

usually within a week...
please SPAY YOUR DOG.. 12 pups is alot for a first litter and how are you gonna find them all homes and what will you do with them if you dont? and more importantly spayed dogs dont face as many health risks so if you love her you would spay her

About 2 weeks. They won't see well at first - but by the time they are 4 week,s they should be able to see Quite well!

they don't..those pups are so inbread they won't be able to stand up
