The easiest dog to own, is the dog that fits into your personal lifestyle, climat and habitat.

There is no point having a great dane if you live in a small apartement.

Considerations should be made for climat.e, so if you live in Florida, expect to spend money shaving your chow's big coat!

If you are the sedentary type, then don't go getting a border collie type who needs a "job"..

You really have to weigh what qualities you are looking for in a dog, then add your lifestyles. Oh and don't forget... you could have allergies to some dogs and not to others, so if you have a tendancy towards allergies, then seek out hypo allergenic dogs , ie: wheaten terriers, etc.).

I don't know about the AKC, but the Canadian kennel club has question area whereby you can fill in a form and based on your answers they can suggest a breed suitable to your needs, likes, and lifestyle.

Best of luck

The easiest dog breed to own are Male Red Dobermann Pinschers.
This comes from my experience with breeding and trading. However the more exotic the color, the easier the breed of Pinscher. Reds are the easiest, next to Blue (grey) lines, then Black Ones.

It depends on your life style,,, if you an active person you can have a bigger more active dog. If you less active maybe a smaller dog that doesn't require as much exercises, a walk around the block is plenty for a small dog but not enough for a big dog.

I have two German Shepard's . Wolf Gang Two chains Prancer,
and Princess Freya Wolf Gang Klan

they all need Love

Depends on where you live, how much time you spend with the dog, how big your yard is, if you want a dog to travel with, etc

The easiest breed to own is a dog breed who is a perfect match for you & your lifestyle.

Something small, with not much hair and is very intelligent and not stubborn. Usually that means a mixed breed because they sometimes get the best of each breed.

Mutts...not as many health problems like purebred dogs (from over-breeding) and usually don't have to go to the groomer.
