Yep...the smaller the breed, the more hyper it is! Standard size poodles are a little calmer, but the toy breed can have the personality of a terrier.
Make sure she's getting enough excercise and play time...a tired dog is a well-behaved dog!

I've heard that dogs are pretty hyper for about the first year or two of their life. I'm going through the same thing with my 1 year old beagle.

It's normal. She's young. It's called being a puppy. If you want to know the personality before commiting to an animal, next time rescue a dog a little older.

Yes, it is very normal. She is still just a puppy. you will see this fade wiht age. If you want to calm her down, take her for a walk every day before dinner, or play a game of tug of war. It will take some of the energie out of her and you can be free to lay together for a while.

poodles are very smart dogs & need to learn a lot of things to keep them occupied. they are a very active breed of dog. they were originally a hunting dog so they need to be doing something most of the time. the more you teach her the calmer she will get.also if you are not going to use her for breeding it would be a good idea to have her spayed, that will usually calm them a bit.

im sure shes just being a puppy. is she fixed? that usually
helps a little.
im sure by age two or three, there will be a big difference

You will just have to wait until she gets out of "puppyhood". I've found around the age of 2-2 1/2 they start to settle down. Good luck.
