You know, it's a joy getting a puppy and requires a lot of responsibility. One of the hardest things, I think, is finding an appropriate name for a puppy. I, personally, don't name my puppy until I've seen him play and get an idea of his personality. Sometimes, a name just pops into my head once I've gotten to know my puppy. Other people have different ways of naming their pets, so you have to find your own niche. I hope this helps.

I think Wolfie would be a good name as both huskie and sheperds look a lot like a wolf .

There are a lot of good male dog names.
Cody,
Bear,
Shadow,
Champ,
Chance,
I would watch his personality first, I once had a cat that I named Stinky because he passed gas all the time and boy did it smell, so we named him Stinky.

Just name him after you get to know him.
