I have a 11 year old deaf dalmatian who is constantly in the garbage and a notorious food stealer? Anyone else with this problem? Anyone encounter any other problems?

Two of my dalmations are food/garabage stealers. I own four dals and dobe. One time my female dal got into her food bin when i wasn't home and almost ate herself to death. Make sure that the garabages are not around and you keep the food in a locked area where there is no possible way of entering unless your human.. lol Also, to the one comment about dals turning on they're owners.. thats only a myth. any dog has the potential to turn on they're owners and for which is usaully either two cases.. the most common is the owners fault of lack of attention or kids picking on them while they sleep or a mental disorder like dementia when they get older

My daughter owns one who is seven years old and a real sweetheart, but he is always having to go to the vet for steroid shots because he is allergic to GRASS!!! Poor baby is always broken out on his muzzle and behind and itches terribly. He is very polite and a very nice person, however. He was kind of destructive with remotes and potted plants when he was a puppy but now is a great dog. Good luck with yours!!
