Our kittens are standing right by the front door when we get home and we are constantly needing to push them away in order to get inside.

Okay, my cat is a persian/siamese mix (supposedly) She cost $100 from the local pet store, so I guess I should trust them. My question is about their temprament. This dumb thing will stare right at me, and then just knock crap off of my table, or take a swipe at my face for no reason. I've had her for a year. She eats normal, but she always cries and runs in circles before I give her food. She has a clean litterbox as well. And water. I don't know why she's so dumb. I know, pets take after their owners. blah blah, I'm looking for serious answers. Are siamese persians all this stupid, or is my cat just a retard. If so, I'm getting sick of getting gimp animals. My first cat had 2 . inch legs and crossed eyes, my dog is a 26lb chihuahua that eats 1 time per day.

I can take her to vet in the morning, but what could it be? It was not like this when I went to work this morning. She is trying to keep it closed and when she closes it, it tears up.

He is a year and a half old and is GREAT! The only thing is that he suffers some awful coughing spells. Sometimes he will cough up a hairball but not always. Is there something I can do for him? Please serious answers only. I love this cat and want whats best for him! thanks everyone!

First question-Can pregnant cats have treats? (I give her 1 treat in the morning if she's in the yard, obviously an outside cat, and 1 treat at night if she is in the yard)

Second Question- Since she's an outside cat, do you think she will have the babies in her little house or somewhere else?

Third, and Final, Question- The babies are going to be born around the middle of January so do you think I should keep them inside or outside? (Her house has two blankets in it and only one small opening. If necessary, I can get another blanket to put in her house.)

Thank you for your answers!(If you want to answer only a certain question please put like "Third Question-" before it. Thanks once again!

I am not sure what is wrong with her. she starts hissing at him every-time she see him. they have been fine for a year and half and now she is doing this. Could she be in heat and still be sniped, if so how long will last. if not what do you think. I want them to get along.

I have a cat (long hair, beautiful). Recently she developed some kind of allergy, itchy bumps on her skin. I took her to the vet and he said that it might be a food allergy so he recommended a low-allergy food. The problem is that my cat won't eat, nothing at all! I am really worried now because I know that cats are not like dogs, she will in fact starve, even if she gets sick. What do I do????

It is horrible. The cat must have jumped in while I was putting clothes in the dryer. It is just horrible. I don't know what to do now. My husband got her out and threw out all of the clothes, but now what? How do I clean it? Can I use the dryer? Uugh. It is just terrible. What do I do? Poor kitty.

I am going to be driving for 3 hours (4 hours, including the rest stops, bathroom...etc) I am taking my cat with me. I need to know some tips and tricks from you guys to help me and my cat with the travel. I have a minivan. Some questions:

-Should I feed him? If so how much?
-How will he go to the washroom?
-Is it a good idea to let him on his leash and harness when were at rest stops?
-How do you keep a litterbox in the carrier when it can fit him only?
-How will he go to the washroom if hes in his carrier.

Were going to family and were bringing the cat. If you can help than that will be great help. If there are anythings you can add to traveling with a cat (such as; what to pack, what to feed him, how to calm hhim down...etc) than that would be very great.

Thanks for your time.
God Bless you all.

potty in her litter box instead of my bathroom rug? Also, how do I make her stop bothering me in the middle of the night? She constantly rubs up against my face, puts her butt in my face, and bites my nose. It keeps me up at night. I don't know what to do besides put her in the garage? She stays up all night and then sleeps all day.

I have two cats about 2 1/2 years old. About a year ago the male got outside through a screen door left open. After that he constantly meowed and clawed at the doors and window screens to go out.

Beginning last spring I started taking both him and his sister out of my apartment to get some fresh air. I didn't need a leash and they stayed near me, coming when I called them. In the last 2 months however they are constantly going further away from me and responding less and less when I call.

I feel bad couping the two of them up all the time, but I live in an apartment complex where there are many stray cats and I don't want them getting sick or attacked. They do have their claws, but still, you never know.

Have I opened a can of worms that I won't be able to close? Or is there some solution to keeping me sane and my cats happy? In 4 months I will be moving into a house with a fenced in yard and a quieter neighborhood. Until then, what can I do?

I already have a purebred Somali cat named Simba (because he looks like a lion in coloring & ruff), and am rescuing a Bengal (looks like a leopard or cheetah with spots & rings on tail) and need suggestions for a name that goes with Simba - the new cat is a young female. Any thoughts?

I didnt read the package and I fed her about 6 of them. I had to go somewhere lastnight so I left her in her kitty cage and when I got back this morning im not sure if she puked or had diarhhea in her cage. But now she is acting weird, all she wants to do is sleep and shes just not being herself . And I now looked at the package of friskies medicine and it says do not ffeed to kittens under 6 months. Does anyone know what can happen from feeding it to them?
The only other reason I can think of that caused her diarrhea or puke is I gave her wet food yesterday, but she eats that from time to time and nothing happened before. So I think its from the hairball treats.

And how do you introduce a family dog to it? I'm just scared that when we get this new cat and my dog and I come back from a walk and the cat is right there, that when I don't notice the cat I will let my dog go free off his leash and he will attack it or something.

I've got 2 cats. I haven't had them long. Anyway, I got them this cool toy for Christmas that's kinda like a swing only smaller with little toys and stuff hanging down for them to slap. I came home and it was destroyed. One is a girl about 1 year old and the other is a boy about 2 years old. The girl is mean and stays into stuff. The boy is laid back. Both are fixed. Who should be in trouble? The boy got the heck outa Dodge and the girl just sat there looking guilty.

I have to take my cat to the vet on thursday and I know my cat isn't going to like this due to the fact she does not go outdoors. What is the vet going to do and how will the vet look after my cat being that I know the cat will act crazy around strangers. IS the vet going to give my cat a shot ? Put her under the gas so that they can see what's wrong with my cat? I just want to know how my cat who doesn't like strangers is going to be taken care of . Thanks .. And my cat is 15 years old 12/26/91 .
