Cat's tails twitch for many reasons. One reason is because they are agitated or upset. Another is excitement, like when they see a bird outside. They also switch thier tail to propel a leap/jump.
Alot of times their tails will quiver when they greet you or are anticipating a meal/treat.

I would worry if the twitch is followed by aggressive/frequent chewing of the tail....if this happens (especially at the base of the tail, near the back) then your kitty may be responding to fleas nibbling at her.

Cats will twitch the tips of their tails when hunting or angry, while larger twitching indicates displeasure. They may also twitch their tails when playing.

define twiching becuse some cats twich there tails becuse there mad and some times becuse thare scared of something
