Some one told me that a kitten nose should always be wet.

A warm, dry nose could indicate that your kitten is running a fever, but it could also be that your cat's nose gets warm and dry when he sleeps. My cat Linus's nose gets warm and dry when he sleeps. Watch your kitten to be sure his nose leather doesn't crack from dryness. If you notice anything really odd, like wheezing, sneezing, or the kitten just being a lump (not running around or anything), then a trip to the vet is warranted. If your cat doesn't display any of those symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it.

it's not abnormal for a cat's nose to be dry when they sleep, but within half an hour it should be moist, usually due to bathing. I would be more worried about a warm nose if the cat just came inside, but during normal waking hours, the nose should be cool and moist. But if its always dry or runs like a human's does when ill, take the cat to the vet. Err on the side of caution.
