My boyfriend is paying for my kitten shots and I'm paying to get him fix and put a chip in him. How much are the shots and what kind does he need . And should I make two trips to the vet or get it done in one day. Which one should I do first/ get him fixed, and his chip , or his shots, or can I get it all done in one day . Or will it be hard for him. And if you want to know his name is Little JJ.Please help , he's like my baby and I want the best for him. Thanks and have a nice day.

My cat hasn't been eating for 14 days, only drinks water. Two vets have seen her and they say there is nothing wrong with her, just wait. Any experience on this?

My kittens have some yellow gunk coming out of their eyes. They are eight weeks old. Sometimes it is so bad that their eyes are glued shut from it. I have been wiping it off with a wet paper towel...but I was wondering if I should worry...and if there is an eye drop for cats to get rid of it.

I'm only 13, andmy cat is a male, he's about 5 or 6 years old and kinda fat. I love him soooooo much, but lately he throws up a lot!!! I tried giving him bath and found that his fleas were really bad and sucking a lot of blood, so i tried to get him to eat some soft food, but he won't eat. I gave him some flea spray too. He's become extremely weak, and can't even walk on his own. He keeps gagging too. I want to take him to the vet, but my family has no money, anyone have any ideas?PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Also, if this is the end, and i think it may be, can anyone tell me how to deal with losing him, because I can't stop crying now, and hes not even gone yet!

I'm a single female with a four month old (and exceptionally large for his age) kitten/cat. He is quite the character and provides me with endless hours of amusement and cuddling. The problem is, the past week or so, he's taken to attacking every male that enters my household, including my male housemates who've been here longer than he has! He's never bitten me (not hard, anyways. just playing stuff) but he routinely draws blood on men, unless they are much younger than I am. Is he really considering men around my age a threat to him? Any ideas how to stop this behavior?

I've tried a few things over the last week or so (squirt bottle, restraint, cage, locking him up in the other room), but I think he's just learned to growl and hiss a warning before he bites and has no intention of stopping the biting. Ideas would be greatly welcomed, before I end up paying for someone's hospital visit!

there is a debate in my house, We have two indoor cats that are about a year old (one a little over, one a little under) and they are hungry ALL the time. The constantly meow on the counter whenever i walk into the kitchen, the get in the cupboards looking for food, and dig thru the trash. My co worker warned me not to over feed them because it would make them fat and unhealthy. we have been feeding them 3/4 cups of kibble each morning and another 3/4 cup each at night. I dont feel like they are getting enuf, but everyone is saying its all they need and that they are whiners. HELP!

Firstly, please don't give me the speel about how it's bad to declaw a cat. I am very well informed of how it works, and I'm not asking for your opinions on why not to do it. That being said, here's my issue! My wife and I have a female cat who is 3 years old, we also have a male cat, the mother and father have three kittens we still have. Recently I returned from Iraq, and in the last month she has attacked me twice completely unprovoked. Today my wife and I were laying in bed discussing the cats and the noises they make and she suddenly out of the blue attacked my face. I would like to keep our cat because we both love her very much, but I can't have this cat attacking my wife and me. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

I woke up this morning to find my partners pill box open and on the floor. We're missing a 50mg zoloft and a .5mg zanax. We called the vet and they gave us Animal poison contorl and it costs $60! I know it's horrible but that's a lot of money! Any ideas what the reaction from these medicines might be to a 9 month old kitten?

Everyone here is telling me I need to take my cat to the vet asap, because she might of got attacked by a raccoon, but I do not know what happened...I know my parents are selfish and I hate them for that, but my dad is hunting and my mom is at work. Is there any way I can help her myself? I do not want her to bite me incase she has rabies, but I dont know if she even has rabies. Like I said before, her eye is stuck shut and her mouth is all bloody and I think her leg may be hurt, but she seems to walk on it fine. I think I should clean the wounds up so they dont get infected, but what do I clean them up with? I have her inside with me in a kennel and there is water in there for her. I am only 13 years old, I do not know what to do and I can not drive her to the vet. I want to help her though...how can I help her?

My cat is an outdoor cat. She used to live inside, but my parents made her start living outside. She is declawed and I feel really bad for her, because she has no way to defend herself. Yesterday my dad went hunting and when he came home he found her laying next to the house. Her left eye is stuck closed and its all watering and her bottom lip is all scraped up and bloody, but THE VET IS CLOSED. I don't know what happened to her, but I think she might of been attacked by a raccoon and I think she may have rabies now, because she isnt acting like herself at all. She is drooling and making really wierd breathing sounds and she is really shy now. She won't respond to any noise at all, but I dont think she likes light. I don't know what to do. Right now we have her in a little kennel and I put some water in there for her and my dad bought some soft cat food for her, but I dont know if she can eat it, because of her mouth. What should I do?!?!?!

We live in an apartment in a huge house - the tenants that lived in the first floor apartment bought a kitten and then kicked it out when it was too much work. My husband and I were so upset when they told us what they did - we've been looking for this kitten for months. Well she showed up yesterday - and we were relieved. We are totally in love with her, but she won't go poo in the litter box and I'm not sure where she's peeing. We have another cat so it's hard to tell who's pee is who's, but she might be peeing in the box. We don't know. We can't keep her if she won't use the box. She's just so used to going wherever she wants outside. She's skinny and needs care and attention and I don't want to dump her in a shelter. I really need some solid advice here.
