We keep finding two of my kittens licking each others b**s, one does it to the other one and then they seem to change around. We have tried to stop them doing it, but we would like to know why. We have looked in various books we have but can find nothing.

I just bought a new, persian, fluffy, 4 months old kitten, but I'm not quiet sure what to name him. (Sorry, don't like calling animals an 'It') He's orange, like garfield, with big, super cute, green eyes. I want a good, dark name for him, but I'm not sure what. Please help me.

Please don't name the following:

Fluffly
Garfield
Midnight

We adopted a black 4mo black cat from the shelter about 1 month ago. He is not very social (easly spooked) will not come out to visit with us. However he does come out to play with the other cat. Is there any way to break in the cat so he can feel comfortable?

My kitten managed to swallow a string from one of his toys. he swallowed it up in little pieces. Now he wont stop throwing up. He is drinking lots of water but he wont eat or poop. he keeps throwinng up the water and then ever once in a while a little piece of the cord will come out. I don't have money to take him to get x-rays. one place said he NEEDED them and another vet said to wait it out. But he's not EATING!!! i keep putting him infront of his food and i even gave him his favorite kind, he just WONT EAT! i'm scared. Is he gunna be ok? What should i do? Should i wait it out?

will somehow deter the cats from going in that area. What is the logic in this?

My male kitten is not fixed but it just started that he is peeing on blankets, clothes and in my rock garden. It is so bad. I have try to keep the doors closed but he gets into the bedrooms and pees on the bed clothes and if I am doing laundry he tries to sneak up on my clean clothes. He will jump onto laundry hampers and push them over drag the clean clothes out and pee. Worst is that he has this thing for peeing on the rocks in my rock garden as if it were a litter box. I have three cats and a self cleaning litter box. He has a seperate one and only does the other mess in there. I have tried pepper, cover sprays and moth balls. He hates the moth balls but he will slap them away from where he wants to go and avoid the others. It still doesn't cure the blanket issue. Please help!

Hi all, I got a kitten off the street about 2 months ago and she is a high energy happy pouncing cat. However, she has dried black looking sand on her head between her ears. I think it may be a scab. However im worried it might be somthing else, i dont think its fleas because the black dots dont move and the cat doesnt scratch her head at all. Should I be worried?

Okay, I have to cats in my house. They're very good at using their litterboxs. Usually. Today I found poop in my room, and I don't know which one did it. But that's not the whole problem. There was white things in the poop. Like little with bugs, but I'm petty sure they weren't moving. Is this normal? I know her pooping in my room isn't normal at all, but I'm wondering if she's just mad or actually sick?

We recently brought home a new cat that insists on peeing on the sofa. I have used the Natures Miracle spray on the sofa to get rid of the smell, but I don't know how to get him to stop. I had heard of Feliway, a plug in that is supposed to stop cats from fighting and spraying. I just didn't know how well it worked. Anyone ever tried it?

This is funny. I named my kitty "Kimchi" and the other day I JUST fed him and he hopped on to the dinner table and started dinning in the rice bowl. Does he really think he's Korean? (just kidding). Why is he eating plain rice? Do they need carb or something? Maybe I should start adding rice to his wet food? He seem to really enjoy it too!

Anyone else seen their kitty eat bread, rice, wheat?

This was a nightmare for the last few days and nights! My cat (female) is so loud, nor me neither my neighbors can sleep. I am afraid they are going to call the police on me. I have to study late at nights for my exams, and then I can't sleep till morning because of the cat. Each time I open the balcony door, it sneaks on the balcony and jumps off from it.( I leave on the second floor.) Then, I have to go down and catch him, because it is being loud on the street and wakes up the entire neighborhood. Please, help me! How to make my cat to shut up!!??????

At times instead of going "Meow!". Max will make these noises, that to me sound, like he's chatting with you, instead of, meowing at you.

My beautiful fluffy lovey cat is at the vet, she's been there since yesterday. She's diabetic and her kidneys and liver are giving out. She's about 13 years old. It came on suddenly. As of a couple days ago, she was fine, and then she just stopped eating and drinking, so we took her to the vet. She's on an I/V to rehydrate her, but the prognosis is not good. I love her SO MUCH! I'm praying she'll pull through, but trying to prepare for the worst.

I do not want them to become lazy but it would be nice if they would sleep more at night. They are getting chopped next week and I don't know what to expect.

my sister cat had a litter of kittens a few years back and i took care of them when my sister was gone we keep them in a giant cage when no one was around and when i come and feed them all 7 would jump out of the cage into my arms and just sit there. We found good homes for all of them but one my sister kept one and named him mozart he was a cat on the outside but in the inside was a different animal he was a special little furry guy like when i try to sleep on the couch he sit and look at me forever intil i pick him up and put him beside me, or me i showered he jump right in go he would take a shower right with you, and it was always funny watching him chase the hockey puck on tv. But one day mozart was got out and someone hit him with a car and sped off. My sister cried for days i still miss that fat little guy but i know hes up in heaven up to no good. Do you have a special furry friend that you miss ?
