We used to get shrews brought in. They're like mice, but have a stubby tail. My cats would also bring live birds, especially pigeons, into my house. I came home from work 1 day and there were 3 pigeons on the loose! The cats were happy enough to get them in the house. After that, they were done with them! I used a dishtowel to throw over the bird and carry it outside to fly away.

Handsome kitty you have there!

I have two cats myself- Tux left a mouse at the entrance to the garage, and Rocky has brought a few dead birds. My aunt's cats brought a live unhurt lizard in the house once to play with for the afternoon- that was unusual

Birds, moles, and chipmunks.

One time she brought a beheaded chipmunk and proceeded the eat the entire thing. This morning I heard weird noises. I thought it was my son grinding his teeth in his sleep. Nope. I went into the hallway and found feathers everywhere. It was the sound of my cat crunching the entire body of the bird she had caught just before dawn...what a way to start the day, bleaching the floors! Ugh. And then she had the nerve to come crying to me for her breakfast! (and I of course fed it to her...) Who owns who?

My cat would mangle anything he caught so severely that if he were a human I'd have had to take him in for a psych evaluation. I would find never find an entire dead mouse or rat, only miscellaneous parts or a live but completely crippled one that he would leave in a secure place so he could come back to it at his leisure. He would always bring the heads to me, I guess to make sure I knew he had really killed them. 0_o

One of my cats brought us a dead baby cottonmouth snake (water moccasin) not sure if he killed it or found it dead, but left it in the living room for us. My girls came in, mom there's a big worm on the floor.

My cat drug in a mouse (which is normal) but then she laid it down next to her, like a kitten and slept with it. Yuck!!

Dug up? I never had a cat, so I could answer that. A person I talked to once, said her cat dug up her dead bird. It sounded gross.
