I'm thinking of getting a Petmate fresh flow water fountain for my cats because it's supposed to encourage your cats to drink more. Does anyone have one of these? Does it work or is it a waste of money? Can you recommend a specific brand?
Thanks!

I keep kibble out for my 2 cats all the time. I still feed them both canned food once a day and divide up the can between the both of them. No they're not fat. The thing is, I've noticed one of my cats wanders around the apartment meowing after I feed her her Fancy Feast canned food in the evening. It's almost like she just wants to wander around to hear herself talk or something. Any idea what that's about?

My cat Rupert has been sick for a few days now, he has oily fur, he was vomitting, and has done nothing but sleep for the past three days. I don't have money to take him to the vet, and was needing to know if there was any medicines i could get for him.

My female cat nevers comes to sit on us, she absolutely hates it, she will growl, hiss, wiggle her tail and run off. My other cats in the past loved to be petted why is she like this? She will only come to me if she wants to knead, after she finishes she will run off.

My cat, Mittens (believe me, I named her many years ago) has some strange characteristics I've never really seen in a cat. I'm not sure if it's her craziness or IQ.
1. She meows a LOT. Not 24/7, but whenever I'm near, she will most always meow in rapid succession, even if she has plenty of provisions. You can make a meowing noise and she will meow back.
2. Even though my other cat hates Mittens, whenever she comes inside, Mittens will immediately come to her and either sniff her behind or lick her head, depending on which way she's facing.
3. Mittens likes to go outside, but shortly after she goes, she starts meowing to want in. If you let her in, she will likely want back out soon.
Keep in mind this isn't always the case, but this is usually what happens. Also, Mittens loves me to death, if that makes any difference.

My kitty caught a mouse and laid it in the garage as a gift. About half an hour later I went out to put it in the trash and it was gone. Who stole her mouse?

Hi,
My cat of 14 yrs (had her 13 from cat protection league) no specific age given, not known, has sudenly started acting extremely bizzarely. She won't stand on any flooring, beit carpet or laminate. She would rather starve on a higher surface or cardboard box. Her paws are fine.
We have lived here for 2 yrs no problem, eating area exactly the same, no new babies or people. To feed her I have to put her in a box and put a bowl with her. No new house changes etc. If she has to be on the floor (which we;ve tested) she skips across it no matter what the surface. This started 2 weeks ago. She also clings to us much more tightly than before. Almost hugs us if she is picked up by any of us. She is very agile, you wouldn't know her age unless you were told. There are no physical ailments.
It's like something happened which we don't know about and she is freaking out about since, it's getting more extreme by the day. We don't have young children or have had any changes in the house.

Ok, I love my kitten to death but I am new at this. I really don't have anywhere else to keep his litter box but in the living room. I only have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room in my house. I clean the box daily but everytime I walk in my house it kinda smells like litter box. Any ideas? I am desperate. I have family coming this weekend and I don't want my house to smell like litter box. I have a deodorized clumping litter. I use fresh step and I but that arm and hammer deodorizer for litter boxes in it. Also, How often am I supposed to change the litter completely? That box is like $12 and it isn't that big. Please help!

We have three cats, they share a food dish that is filled every morning. Two cats are perfectly fine but one is getting fat. It doesn't seem like he eats more than the others, but he must be. Any ideas how to get one cat to diet and not the other two. Their food sits out all day for them to eat whenever they want.

I have two wonderful female cats, well one of them is wonderful, the other one isn't the brightest bulb on the tree, but she's cute. I have a friend who has six kittens. Two of the kittens are the same color as the two I have. I'm hoping one is male. Should I get them a brother for christmas?
