I have a female siamese cat. She is one year old. She has gotten in habit of eating lizards. I don't want her to eat lizards and I want her to stay indoors all the time. What should I do?

thanks

I have 3 cats and recently , on the advice of family, i switched them on to wood pellets (A huge bag was 5 bucksand the results sounded so promising) Sooo...They won't cover their poo and IT STINKS!! Also, recently they have been going all over the floor instead. They seem a little freaked out by it even though I really slowly weened them off regular litter. I jusyt want something that won't make a huge mess they'll track around the house and that isn't stanky and super pricey! Help!!

Ok, my sisters cat recently had kittens and they are just now starting to walk around. But she said that one of them doesn't use her back legs, and instead just uses her front legs and drags herself from the stomach down. She also said that her back legs are turned completely to the side....anyone ever hear of anything like this and maybe have an idea what it is caused from?

My cat, Dewey, weighs about 19lbs now. He used to weight 23.5lbs. He is on a serious diet. He is very short with short legs and a short body but is very sturdy.

I'm just curious how he stacks up against other "fat cats."

I have had a (neutered) rescue cat for 6 years and he goes through phases (more often than not) of weeing and pooing in random places around the house. He seems petrified of the litter tray which I keep clean all the time. When he does use it he's in and out as fast as he can move and never scratches the litter to cover his mess. I've tried all "common" solutions; moving the litter tray to where he wee's, keeping him in the room with the tray after he has eaten, putting his food bowl near where he has weeed; vetinary solutions, etc, etc. He is worse than he has ever been at the moment.

Why is it that my cat's poop smells sooo bad when I always feed him the same food. Never wet food. He gets dry food, and water. no treats either. He eats Purina Cat Chow, Indoor Formula. ALWAYS. What should I do?

2 years ago we had this one cat named Shadow. He was my mom's baby, she loved him more than you can imagine. We had him for about 2 years previous to the above mentioned date. 1 weekend that summer my mom & dad were up at Penn State for the weekend. While home my bf & I found Shadow underneath a tree. He had been hit by a car but was alive. We took him to the animal hospital. I will spare details but we had to keep him alive long enough for my mom to get home & say goodbye. We then put him to sleep.

1 month later we got a new cat named Bungee. He is the cutest cat ever. He is a Baby, I mean literally, 2 years old & you can carry him like a baby everybody loves him. Well I woke up this morning & went outside & found Bungee by the steps & he was dead! Today is my mom's birthday & she is in Mexico on vaca till Sun. I have the vet holding him until she gets home. I won't tell her till she gets home but what do I say to her? HELP! She is going to freak out and I am freaking out. So Sad

I mean fun tricks - Examples: roll over, fetch, speak, etc.
Not obedience commands - Examples: down, sit, no digging/scratching.

Our cat is 6 months old. He loves attention, He rubs his body on my leg but when i go to pick him up to pet him, he tries to bite.

Also we have a 12 year old Lab/Retriever cross and the cat wont stop trying to chew on the dogs legs. Everytime the cat tries to bite our dogs legs, our dog gets up and moves but the cat follows. Sometimes the dog barks at the cat to stop but he wont.

How do we get our cat to stop chewing and biting??

He has Loads of toys to play with but prefers to chew away.

our new kitten gets on counters and tables and she always gets on your lap when you are eating to get on the table and we thought we should spray her with a water bottle , is that mean or what ? but there is no other way I have found that you can tell a cat not to do something .... and I want to make sure she learns while she is 3 months old...!

She stayed for two days to get fluid in her. They took tests and x-rays. It turns out that she has hypothyroidism, arthritis, tumor on the liver(don't know if it's cancerous), and something in her lungs because she's breathing hard. I brought her home, but if she's not better after she finishes her medication, I'll probably have to have her put to sleep. I also found that she's 16, not 19-but still getting old.Thank you for caring answer.

Sometimes she poops in the litter box, sometimes nearby. The cat seems to have a health problem that all the vets could not identify. A kind of pain or distress. When she poops, she miaous nervously and then runs away. Any idea?
