About a week ago, I put Frontline on my 17 year old cat, but it doesn't seem to be working. Yes, it's the correct one for his size. Yes, I put it on him correctly. The fleas are just really bad this year (I've been treating my house and yard, too). Frontline just doesn't seem to work that well. How long do I need to wait before putting Advantage on him?

My nutered, declawed, indoor purebred cat will not stay in side. He waits for the door to open and if given even a slight chance he takes off running. Yesterday I chased his little but for 30 minutes trying to catch him, and he wouldnt give up.

When I did catch him he was so out of breath I thought I would have to take him to the vet, luckily he calmed down.

He has a girlfriend whom stays on our porch all night, and when he got outside he was running towards her owners house. Even though hes fixed, can they still get the urge?

OMG what do I do, im getting so anoyed, and out of breath chasing this lil booger.

I have a 14 year old female cat. She has lost a ton of weight, however eats all the time. She basically chases us for our food! Hangs around the kitchen and drinks more water than normal. This has gone on for some time, we tried many different things. I feed her unlimited food, but she still wants our food and is a bit of a bug about it. She has gone from about 13lbs to 5 lbs in the last year. She seems happy, loving, talkative, fine, but also is not cleaning herself, fur is getting clumpy and messy. I am thinking she is either diabetic or her thyroid is acting up. When she was 6 she was treated (surgery for a large lump on her shoulder) for cancer. We were told they couldn't get a clean margin and she would likely die within a year. She is about 14 now so she made it through that and a house fire 8 years ago! I truly can't afford a large vet bill, I am so upset I am not sure what to do, if her time has come I need to let go, but I wonder if she can be saved. Any ideas? Thank you!!!

I was wondering where I could find a clinic for pet vaccines for free. I heard that there was a clinic just outside of Tulsa. As I have just gotten my second cat, I needed to find information quickly. Thanks so much for the help!

We usually have two variants. The first one is outright terrorism, search and destroy, dive bombing my feet or legs, knocking stuff off of any surface, galloping like loud horses, etc. The rest of the time, my male cat makes a few sweet bird-chirping sounds, then he goes into "the pattern", which involves circling my head, by crawling over me at the waist and kissing and sticking full whiskers in my face. Even if I hug and pet him, this continues until I kick him out of the room or he decides he's hungry and goes to check out the food dish.

My cat has a open sore behind his ear.. we took him to the vet and they gave us pills for him to take, but we cant get him to take it! We already tried mashing it into his food, breaking it down in water and using a seringe. It wont heal if he doesnt take it! Plus he constantly scratches at it even though we trimmed his nails down. We cant put on of those plastic disc things over his head becasue he is one fiesty cat and wouldn't deal with that! What should I do????

My cat is 1 1/2 years old and not spayed. She pees anywhere she wants. She even pees in her own water bowl. We have two other cats, but there are three litters boxes between the two of them. Could it be because she's not spayed? I just don't want to pay the money to spay her and find out it's not going to fix the problem. Any advice is appreciated!
