I was wondering where I could find a clinic for pet vaccines for free. I heard that there was a clinic just outside of Tulsa. As I have just gotten my second cat, I needed to find information quickly. Thanks so much for the help!

Hi there...by contacting your local humane society or better the no-kill cat rescues in Tulsa. I found this website: Tulsa Pets.com (http://www.tulsapets.com/specialty.asp). All of these would most likely be an excellent resource to consider first. Call around to see who can help you with the low cost or free vaccinations.

I live in Texas so I'm not sure about anywhere specifically in Tulsa, but you can call the local Humane Society and ask them. They usually have information on free or low cost vaccination clinics and sometime they can do the vaccinations there. I work at a vet clinic and I know that there is a mobile vet that goes around to different places on Saturdays and does low cost vaccinations. They have a rotating schedule. Sometimes they set up in a Wal-Mart parking lot or local grocery store, places like that. You may also be able to check your local yellow pages for a mobile vet and check them out. Also, some feed stores sell pet vaccinations so if you are comfortable doing it yourself you can buy the vaccines from them. The rabies vaccine is required by law to be administered by a doctor but it's a good way to save money on other vaccinations. Good luck!

Don't think anyone offers free shots, but you can definitely get them at a discounted price...call your local humane society and they will sometimes provide them..also some vets and pet stores offer low cost vaccines..they will have a certain day that people could bring their pets to get vaccines at a much lower price than normal. Petcos do this a lot.
