Cats are fussy creatures. Milk is bad for them, water is best. Try some variety - a different make of catfood.

TUNA is really bad for cats.. so is salmon.. and yogurt and milk... calcium contributes to urinary tract problems and should never be given to cats.. milk products not only contain calcium but also lactose of which cats are intollerant so they will hurt the kitties tummy even though cats may like the taste...

what kind of food are you calling the "best"? because if its any from grocery or wal mart its crap... if its Science Diet, or Iams.. its crap.. all foods tell you they are the best.. but very few actually are...

your cat should have dry food avaliable all the time and the canned food should ONLY be chicken and rice formula (although turkey or lamb and rice are ok too) - add water to the food, but if you feed canned they should only get 1-2 teaspoons of canned a day, and ad twice as much water so you make it into a soup
you need to refresh cats drinking water twice a day as often they dont drink as much when it has dust on it

Get a good type of cat food. Put one biscuit in the center of the food once the cat starts eating the biscuit he will soon try the food. This might take a few tries but it should work! Hope it helps!

If you have allowed to eat people food, that's what she acquired a taste for.

Cats/kittens should not drink milk anyway, it causes diarrhea.

Have you tried a good premium dry cat food? Buy several small bags and she which one she prefers, then buy that food, mix a little canned cat food in and gradually reduce the can, feeding only the dry. Trust me you don't want to keep her people food it's a sure way to create health problems down the road.

It's not like she'll go on a hunger strike, when she gets hungry, you can bet she'll eat the cat food you've given her.

What is this cat's DIET. Everything you mention is a treats only substance. Why not salmon, that's a good food though too much fish in a cat's diet is not good? Tuna is the worst food for a cat, terribly addictive and can cause a serious vitamin deficiency.

Go to asda/Tesco any one of the big stores with a chicken rotisserie part and ask them for a cup of the jelly that drains from the chicken as they cook it. this is usually free or maybe they will make a small charge. My Fussy cat loves it. Have you tried the cat with kitten milk? mine loves this. I have found that a good source of fresh fish is the reduced section. of the fishmongers sometimes has off cuts that you can purchase for a token amount. Good luck.

Dont give her milk whatever you do- its VERY bad for cats, and can kill kittens. I have a cat exactly like this; I now buy cooked chicken legs for him, and shred the meat (dont let them get the bones), and he has this morning, and tuna in the evening; I'm a pensioner, so I get to eat a lot of beans on toast!! They are worth it....I think!!

At your cat's next regular checkup with the vet, please ask him or her to check the cat's teeth. That is (oddly enough) one cause of fussy eating among pets. Of course, she is a cat, so she may well need no other cause than her felinity to be fussy. Do be sure her teeth are sound if it looks like she is having trouble with the dry food, should you take these folks' good advice and try to switch her to that.

Do you spoil you children or intend to when you have them? Look, your cat is an animal and will eat anything you put down there for it it it's hungry enough. Of course, if it is more persistent than you are, it will eat what it wants to and not what you want it to eat. It's a dumb animal but not stupid. Your cat is playing you like you are a ten cent guitar.

She's spoiled rotten! Quit giving her human food, not only is it very unhealthy for her but it is only making her more spoiled.

Offer her ONE kind of food and ONE kind only. Offering different kinds just adds to the rotten-ness ;)

If she doesn't eat it - no worries. She's not like a mouse that needs to eat all the time to keep her body healthy. She will be fine to miss a meal or few while she is "holding out for the good stuff." When she gets hungry enough she will eat her cat food.

Mind you, if you continue to feed wet food, refresh it every 8-12 hours if she doesn't eat it.
Consider feeding dry as it will be much more beneficial to her teeth.
