Help, I just got my cat back from the vet yesterday. He has a broken pelvis and the vet wants to let it heal nauturally. My problem is I need any tips, or suggestions on a cat with using the litter box with broken hip. He is really having a painful time getting out of the litter box. The cat still hasn't had a bowel movement and when I pick him up to put him in the litter box he jumps out screaming in pain. When I brought him home from the vet yesterday afternoon he did pee in his litter box but nothing since.

He is eating, and drinking his normal amount. Please no negative comments or suggestions.

Thank you,

I have two kittens that I just got yesterday morning. Both of them are white with orange spots, except the older one is big and just a shade lighter, and is a girl. The younger cat is smaller and a bit darker, but is a boy. What are some good names for these two kittens? (FYI: They're cousins)

I have a 4 month old golden retriever puppy and i just brought home a (maybe) 6 month old kitten. I am slowly introducing eachother by getting my sister to hold my puppy while i hold my kitty a few feet away from eachother. My puppy just stares at the kitty not really caring but my kitty hisses at my puppy. Will my kitty ever grow out of this state and find my puppy more of a friend then an enemy? Tell me your stories if you have been or are in the same situation.

I just got two kittens, one about a week older than the other. Anyways the younger isn't quite eating and the other cat is a nice plump size. How do I get the other one to eat? Should I bottle feed it? the oldest one is six weeks old today, and the younger one will be six weeks on Wednesday. What can I do to help the younger one eat a little more?

My cat had 4 kttens and they are 3 weeks old. 1 of them has puss and "sand" in her eyes. Im really worried. She is acting like the other kittens but the stuff in her eyes seem to worry me. Is this just a sign of when there eyes are getting open? There eyes are all opened but hers are the smallest.

I have, in the meantime moved to another home, but I have continued to feed them at the old home every day. They use my old home as their home base and are always there when I come to feed them. (It's still on the market) How do I go about moving my kitties and adapting them to a new environment? Also, what do I need to do to officially(legally?) adopt them?

I was curious...how many people have cats who let you brush their teeth? I have tried many times, but I haven't had a cat who liked it or would let me. Vets say it's best to practice good dental hygiene rather than waiting for their teeth to get nasty and infected (same with dogs). I have two cats...one eats mostly wet food and the other dry food. The one who eats mostly dry food has nice, white SHARP teeth. The one who eats wet food doesn't exactly have a nice smile. (They are 8 years old.) Obviously the dry food helps keep them in shape. Just curious if you brush your cat's teeth.

I live in malaysia. I have a cat.. He's paw is seriously swollen. the left front paw is huge. Please help me. He cannot walk properly.. He has started to lose his appetite. I don't have enough money to send him to the vet. I am still a student. I really love him.. 2 weeks ago.. i gave him a medication for joints and arthritis. Initially, the swelling gets a little bit smaller and he became more active. So, i stop giving him the medicine. Then, the swelling became bigger. So, i gave him that medicine. But the there was no effect. The swelling still huge and he cannot walk or sit properly... The swelling is hard when i tried pressing it. Please help me and tell me how to treat him. I really hope that a veterinarian doctor would answer this answer for the sake of a life of an innocent cat.

If you need the picture of his swollen paw, please email me at john_86_b@yahoo.com . I will definitely send the picture right away to you. Thanks for your kindness

Woke-up this morning 7/2/06, found a stillborn kitten in hallway. I was wondering if there might be other kittens. My wife and I have looked at all of the usual places to find the others, but no luck. She does not appear to be pregnant anymore, she is very social able and wants to be petted allot. Is it possible she isn't finished having her litter, I have read that a usual litter is 4 to 5 kittens. Are there anymore?

How do you keep you mind off losing a pet you just had to get put down? My family & I had to get our cat of 19 years put down a few days ago & I try to think positive about her life being good & all but it hurts so much & I'm forcing myself not to cry cause I cried like a baby at the vets when my sister & I took her to get put down. How do I keep my mind off this & move on ect..?

We have three cats and one of them is spraying our visitor's bedroom every time that we have someone visit us. Is there a way to tell which one is doing it? Will the offending cat have a different reaction when being shown his crime than the others? I know that I should not punish them, but at least I want to be able to identify which one has the issues.

I have a 15 lb. cat (8Ball) and he's hot, but I don't want to get him shaved. He only has about 1/2 inch long hair.
