Stray cats are not a problem in my neighborhood but the cat I have now was a stray when he was a kitten and now he is an indoor house cat.

Strays are a problem everywhere. In the US we put to sleep 23 million animals a year because people don't fix their animals. Next time you see a baby puppy or kitten just think about how many of them have to die because there are not enough good homes for them, and because people refuse tospay and neuter. Some people don't do it because they think its expensive but if you call your local human society you will see that their are programs that only cost $20 to fix your animals.

Stray cats are a problem just about everywhere. If people would educate themselves about spay/neuter this problem would gradually go away. Contact your local animal shelter and educate yourself about spay/neuter. You could become a volunteer and go to schools to educate others about spay/neuter. Make a difference in your neighborhood.

The variety of stray cats in any community is by technique of the fact some human beings do no longer think of their cats must be spayed or neutered. and a few human beings think of there is not any longer something incorrect with letting their cats outdoors to roam, unchecked and unsupervised. to blame cat vendors are no longer the situation. people who've cats yet do no longer provide a darn approximately what happens to them is the situation.

No, they have their own lives to live, if they want to live without man's dominance, then so be it. Let them be free if they decide that it is in their best interests.
I am probably the only person in my apt. complex who the strays will approach without fear for some reason. Maybe it's because they know I won't hurt them, maybe they know I'm not the humans who kidnap them and take them to the shelter to be bonded into domestication again, who really knows?

i don't consider them a problem.
i love cats and i feed them everyday all my personal eating group is spayed and every new comer goes stright to the vet to get spayed.
other then me there are about 10 more cat feeders in my neighberhood and most of them make sure to spay their eating group cats.
but my city doesn't support free or low priced spays, i pay from my own money so it's hard to catch everyone.
so i guess no i don't see them as a problem if you will feed them and spay them they won't be a problem.

no, most people around here take care of their cats. we live on a busy road so you have to take care of your cat or you won't have one.
