Lions and Tigers are 2 separate species. Every species of mammals have males and females- otherwise they couldn't reproduce. You need to read some basic biology books my friend!

Sophie is right. Lions and Tigers are two completely seperate species. A female Lion is called a Lioness, and a female Tiger is called a Tigeress.

a female lion is called a lioness. They look like lions but have no mane, just like a giant cat. Tigers are totally different animals.

tiger and lions are a totally different species, hence the "Liger" which is a tiger and a lion mix. Tigers have the stripes, lions don't. . . . It's Tigger Verses Simba! lol
