ONE REASON IS THAT HE/SHE IS CONTENT AND HAPPY. THE OTHER REASON COULD BE THAT HE MAY BE IN PAIN OR DISCOMFORT,IS HE/SHE SHOWING ANY OTHER SIGNS WHILE HE SHE IS PURRING.
