This is more a warning than a question. If you have a male cat especially a neutered one and has always used the litterbox and he starts peeing everywhere take him to the vet asap. I have been through this before with one of my cats, I dont know how I missed the warning signs this time but I had to put my Beloved Cat Buddy Boy to sleep today because he had this problem so bad he couldn't walk or even pick his head up. he weighed 20 lbs originally but when we finally got him to the vet he was about 25 lbs and his bladder was very swollen. He was bleeding so bad and the only thing to do was to have him put to sleep. I could not watch him suffer anymore. I wish I could have saved him, but I couldn't, I didnt catch on to the warnings he was exhibiting until it was too late. Please don't let this happen to your cat, I dont won't anyone to go through the pain I have been through.

I got another kitten at the same time. They were the same size, and now the other kitten is twice as big.

i would like to have a cat one day. not now, though. i don't have the means to take care of one at the moment. but i will most probably get one later. there's so many kinds of cats and i don't know each and every characteristic. so, i was wondering what type of cat would be good as a pet.

One of my cats has been coming home with small ticks all around his head, and a TON of small ones all around his eyes. We have been giving him frontline once every month as directed and when we give it to him, they all fall off and stay off for like 10-15 days. After those first days, they always come back and we can't re-apply too soon because the package says once per month. Are there any other products that do a better job?

Please keep in mind that we live in an area with a lot of tall grass in fields near us that he sleeps in at times and there is no way we can fence in our yard. And no, we will not make him an indoor cat. If this is the best we can do and he will keep having tick problems, then so be it. Thanks.

Ok, a stray cat came to my house about two weeks ago. I got very attached to her and tried to convince my parents to let me keep her. She got to stick around for a while but they told me I had to find her a home. No luck in finding her a home and my dad was getting frustrating and threatening to take her off and dump her somewhere b/c he didn't want her around, anymore. When I packed her up to take her to our nearest animal shelter, my sister started babbling about how they would kill her in three days if she wasn't adopted b/c she was out of the county the shelter was in. I had to debate between the poor cat being put down in 3 days if she didn't find a home or my awful daddy dumping her side the road somewhere and her starve to death. I took her to the pound risking her being uthenized... did I do the right thing? I was an emotional wreck all the way to the shelter and back home. I'm still very upset. I really cared for her and made the decision I thought was best for her. Was it??

We have a cat who we will be leaving for 2 months alone in the house. my uncle will check on him daily to feed and pet him, for 1month, and for the next month there will a be specialized lady who will visit him daily. is it ok to leave him alone for that long? will he go insane from loneliness and lack of love? i'm really worried about him, since he's a very spoiled cat who loves to be cuddled and held.should i be ?

Someone I knew was taking care of my cat while I moved because my new apartment wouldn't allow pets. The next month my car broke down so I couldn't drive up to get him so they said they would bring him to me. They called later and said that their daughter took him to a friends house and her friend "lost" him. How do you lose a 10 year old neutered and declawed cat?
(It's too late for me to even try and look for him)
Yes, I trusted this person, but obviously not even more.
