I took in two abandoned kittens. They are a month old and I am trying to get them to use a litter box. Sometimes one of them does but most of the time both of them go right outside of the box. How can I teach them the right place to use?

He is approx. 15 yrs. old and is really losing a lot of weight...he meows to be fed all the time but when fed he acts as if he doesn't want what's served. I have changed the varieties and brands, he tires of them quickly. He will, however eat human food, such as chicken, steak, etc. most any meat. AND, he does throw up at least twice a week....What gives???? I don't think he has worms, don't see any in his stool. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.

I just sprayed my cat with hertz 2 in 1 flea and tick spray.. I followed the directions and sprayed him, but now he is trying to climb the walls. He's going crazy so I dried him off, he keeps licking himself and everytime he does he runs around like a psycho trying to climb the curtains and whatever else he can find. Is this normal? Should I wash it off?

I have a cat at home who is nearly a year old in july he's really cute and quit clever at things. Sometimes when i throw a paper ball he gose and chases it and picks it up with his mouth and brings it back to me, He knows his name and where he lives and miows at our other cat called Tammy. And every time i shake a box of cereal he comes running up to you and leaps up to make you stroke him. And that when i blink at both cats they blink back. And once Tammy found a mouse in a garden and was meowing at me i thought she wanted me to congratulate her

This is a two part question. 1) My cat seemed to young when she was given to me, felt like skin and bones, they said mom wasnt feeding them correctly and she was not litter box trained. She seems small for her age. How will this affect her when she gets older. 2) Is it ok to declaw cats and how old it ok to do it - or anyway to prevent her from scratching on my cabinets and leather couches.

My cat Peaches is almost 17... she is living with the kitties Maverick and Nova... if anyone saw the photos a couple days ago of the kittys in the water remember that

Peaches doesn't like water but to drink in it... (Just like Nova) Last night she started putting her paw in it and
playing(?) with the water. Shes also doing other weird things that the kittys do, that she never did...

Why is she doing these diffrent things? Its starting to be really weird?

Thanks,

Cassie

His nose is normally a pink color, but I noticed this morning when he was out in out closed in patio that it was whitish-pinkish. I don't know if it's just because it's colder out there, becuase whenever he's inside, it looks fine. I don't want to go to the vet and pay a walk-in fee for nothing. Please help

I live in Florida and would like help with my dilemma. They are making so much noise that none of us can go outside and sit on the porch not even my cats. I have looked for the nest but cannot find one and within the last week the female has joined him in the pursuit of my cat so my guess is the eggs have hatched for now I see her. These birds will try to come thru the screen to get to my cats. I hope someone has a suggestion for my husband is ready to buy a BB Gun and kill the birds. I am tired of hearing them and when I do let my cat outside he will not try to get them but they will attack him. I really thought a cat would kill them but none of the cats in the neighborhood will attack them. I hope someone out there will have a remedy to my problem.

She bites and scratches the bottle (and my hand as well), and will growl at me and bite my hand if I pull the bottle away after she is done, even if she starts sucking down air. I know she is getting enough to eat because of her constant weight gain, and I know she is not dehydrated. Afterwards, she will bite down on my hand hard enough for it to hurt, and will keep biting me until I either pull her off or blow air in her face to make her stop.

This behavior is very recent, developing in the past few feedings, and in order to discourage the behavior, I need to know why she is doing it. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I recently saw a poster for a missing cat. Then I think I saw it eating from a bowl at a gas station. How do you get a stray cat to come to you if it doesn't know you?
