One of my cats always walks with me if she sees me going. Now with a dog, she still follows us.

Every cat is different. There is nothing wrong with that. If you don't want her to take a walk with you and whatever, then don't take her for a walk. Simple as that. But you can't change a cats personality. If anything it is cute when cats act like a dog.

Just cuz she takes walks w/ u and doesn't run away doesn't mean she's a dog. Animals have different personalities and apparently your cat has a 'doggy' personality. At least your cat doesnt' spend the whole day in it's kitty condo.

my cats the same way and I love it. Why are you worrying?
The reason he may be acting this way is either: 1) he was given a large amount of affection and constantly carried as a kitten and as a result developed an extremely strong bond with humans or 2) he's part wildcat (or lynx, or bobcat). Wildcats have somewhat dog-like qualities

I have a cat that likes to play fetch, too! It is hilarious. He also licks my face and arm. He even lays like a dog with his hind feet stretched out behind him. He follows me around the house like a dog too. Wherever I am, he is. Maybe someday I can take him on a walk too! That would be awesome!

The cat is obviously attached to you. I see nothing wrong with it. Some cats actually do go for walks just as dogs do. I wish mine would!

She is giving you companionship!! My cat acts like a dog too. He likes his tummy rubbed and he likes to be out of his cat carrier to watch the cars going by when he take him to the vet. Its normal for some cats to do that.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I have a cat named "Puppy". She does the same thing, as well as beg at the table, come when she is called and some other dog things.

I think it's cool, we have two cats and they both love to play fetch. One loves to do it only at 3 in the morning but it's cool ... I think it would be cool to have a cat that walks with you
