My cat is shedding like you would not believe! I brush her everyday, but it does not seen to be subsiding. Should I be worried? She is six.

It is that time of year that all animals shed their coat for the winter, try using a dish-washing rubber glove to comb her it's easier on the coat and keeps the hair from going everywhere, you can also use the glove to get cat hair off your furniture

Go see your vet. Shedding could lead to anything. Try some catfoods that are believed to improve shedding

it is shedding season, don't worry about it, i have 2 cats and my house is almost covered in cat hair, it happens every year! it is all natural, they are just dropping there winter coats, if they don't then the will burn to death, litterly

spring is usuall time for shedding.. summer also
cats shed more if on a low quality food - all foods in grocery store or wal mart are low quality

Cats shed all the time.I would not be worried unless you see any balding...
