I have a cat at home who is nearly a year old in july he's really cute and quit clever at things. Sometimes when i throw a paper ball he gose and chases it and picks it up with his mouth and brings it back to me, He knows his name and where he lives and miows at our other cat called Tammy. And every time i shake a box of cereal he comes running up to you and leaps up to make you stroke him. And that when i blink at both cats they blink back. And once Tammy found a mouse in a garden and was meowing at me i thought she wanted me to congratulate her

Your cat seems to be really smart. Cats are usually intelligent animals, I know mine knows when its meal time, because she'll come into the dining room (not even into the kitchen where the smell of food is, she knows we eat in the dining room).

Yes, I think your cat is quite intelligent, although in every pet owners eyes their pet is clever!!
Our cats do some of the things that your kitten does, and some other things clever things too.

I read somewhere once, that if you want to show your cat you are relaxed and not a 'threat' you should blink slowly at them, that is why they blink back!

My mum's kitten does this! Yes your cat is intelligent, I think they pretty much all are, only some act more daft than others. My cat has learnt to miaow differently for different things and I swear it sounds like she's talking. She has everyone in pieces with it. To go out she miaows "lemmeaow!" and "miw" when she wants milk and "mam" for ham, is is so funny.

People say cats can't be trained, but they can.

Yes, My cat does the same :) Cats are really intelligent. My kitten name is Jinx; He is 2months old and plays a lot with paper bits, bottle caps, balls etc; Train him to jump, climb and lot more. Enjoy him and have fun. Take care of him.

That's nothing. My former pet (long dead now) used to jump onto door handles to spin the knob and open doors. He would somehow manage to steal pieces of Kentucky Fried Chicken from the bucket I would bring home. Although I never caught him once, I'd find the desicated bones hidden in various places when I did cleaning.

Did you write this, or your cat? If it was your cat, then the answer is NO, because that was the worst written paragraph I have ever read!!! For the love of God, use the "Check Spelling" option, and mix in an occasional comma!!!

Cats are very intelligent animals so I would have to assume your cat is intelligent too.

of course cats r intelligent, we had one from a kitten for18 yrs he even had to have tablets everyday because of a cowboy vet, he would eat the tablet out of the palm of my hand every day, he always came when u called his name, he never left the confines of our garden Even when we moved house, my wife walked him round the house & garden & told him it was his garden & put him on the ground & he followed her about, even when we put catflaps in, we only showed him once & he was able to use it straight away, he never once messed anywhere in the house & always came & meowed at us if he wanted to go out,(before we fitted catflaps), it was a sad loss when he had to be put down after 18 loyal years, we have had several cats since then, & our latest is a rescue one who is 10yrs old & very intelligent, he has seen other cats off who tried to get into our house & always meows at us to be let out & for his food, he even jumps on our laps & meows for us to stroke him even when we go to bed, if one of us goes first he always comes to the other one & meows as if to say its time for you to go to bed, then hes on our bed till we turn the lites out then off he goes to sleep on the settee, he even jumps in our caravan when we go on holiday, as if to say you are not leavin me behind, so he comes with us, not intelligent or what & we have only had him since April this year.
