Copy Cat!!! HELP!!!?

Question

My cat Peaches is almost 17... she is living with the kitties Maverick and Nova... if anyone saw the photos a couple days ago of the kittys in the water remember that

Peaches doesn't like water but to drink in it... (Just like Nova) Last night she started putting her paw in it and
playing(?) with the water. Shes also doing other weird things that the kittys do, that she never did...

Why is she doing these diffrent things? Its starting to be really weird?

your cat seems to be "adopting" their personality, consider it a breathe of fresh air for your older cat,
its ok really, your older cat is trying to fit in with these new "youngsters" thats all.

She may be learning this from the other cats. I think, though, that it is because she is older. I have a 14 year old cat and she always pats the water becfore she drinks it.

As they age, their eyesight goes -she may be having trouble seeing the water (clear, right?) so she is tapping it to see how far in she should put her face.

Also, older cats do strange things - sometimes they will go into a room and begin to meow loudly for no reason - it is probably senility - my cat does the same thing because she forgets where she is or why she is there.

It's old age, that's all.

My cat used to imitate a dog that my roommate had. Then when he got around my mom's cats he imitated them. Don't worry about it, she's just being a cat. She lived alone for so long now that she has friends she's making the most of it. There's nothing wrong with her.

I don't know why she is doing this but, it is a cute story.
