I just moved to Fl. and don't have a job yet so I bought this beautiful baby bird. Since I don't work he is out of his cage and w/ me and walking around on his cage all day is this unhealthy? about the tricks he seems a little to inquisitive to coentrate on tricks. Also when I got him he had bitten off his tail feathers he still has his baby colours will he bite his adult feathers off to? He is not plucking he is just bitting them off.

My boyfriend found a cat yesterday at his jobsite. it was raining an windy. the cat followed him all day and stayed in his car. my boyfriend brought her home but she hasnt eaten or drank anything yesterday or today. im not sure how long its been since shes eaten but she looks pretty thin. shes very friendly and loves to curl up on ur lap and be petted. what should i do?

he had some grated carrot and a tiny bit of mango some time ago but it seems to me that those should be out of his system by now. should i worry? he's about 3-4 years old and apart from that seems to be doing well.

I have been giving my cat half dry Purina One mixed with half dry Innova for cats, and a little bit of canned friskies. I want to switch to a mostly canned food diet for her since I now know canned is better for cats. What is the best cat canned food? She's a perfect weight and a little under 2 years old. I know that everybody wants everybody to neuter/spay their dogs, but is it ok to breed your dogs when they are considered a rare breed in the U.S. to preserve their race? I just recently bought a male Jindo from a breeder(4 months now), and he is in champion bloodlines
(dad 2005 Jindo show champion) and his mom is a show dog also. And they were both imported from Korea to ensure their purity.

What can i do to make my cat more affectionate towards me? he is 6 1/2 months old and neutered. I've had him for 3 1/2 months now and i wanted a cat to watch tv with, pet, and hold and its not happening and it is frustrating. when i go to pet him and he is standing up, he will lower his bottom so the my had slides off of him and he walks away! If he is laying down and awake and i go to pet him, he will get up and move not far away and then lay back down and licks the exact spot i petted him on. As if to say "im washing your touch off of me"!! I don't know what this means but every time i call his name his tail flops/moves...is he aggravated that I'm even calling him??? I really can't belive it. I call anyone elses name..tail relaxed. Call his name..it moves fast. It makes me so mad and it hurts. I got this kitten because i was depressed and he's acting like this? That sure doesn't help me at all.

Anyway...what can i do? I've never been a cat owner before so this is all new to me.

Would it be ok to put 5 Tinfoils in a 55 gallon tank until spring when I get a 90 gallon? These would actually be Red Tailed Tinfoils (Barbonymus Altus) not the true Tinfoil. They max out at 8 inches rather then 14. The ones I would like are about 4 inches right now.

i want to feed my turtles eggshells but how do i give it?
do i break of little peaces or just put a whole shell in the water so they can bite of pieces themselve? and won't they hurt their troth if they swallow a sharp piece? ( i'm from belgium so sorry if i wrote mistakes)

My dog is constipated....I called the vet and they said to use Milk of Magnesia...because of being constipated, he won't eat anything because the girl at the vet says he's "scared" to.

He let something small out this morning but it was very tiny and pushed a lot...he starts barking because it hurts to come out I guess...I feel bad.

How can I get him to take the medicine?? Also any other remedies you can think of we can use? Thanks

hey, my kitten is 8 weeks old and ive had her for 1 week, she came with fleas but as her age was 7 weeks at the time i have been using a flea comb on her rather than spot on stuff, her third eye lid has just started showing and weve noticed its when she seems sleepy, but shes always a sleep!!! she will not drink water and was on a dry food when she came so ive changed it to a wet food/mix so i know shes gettin some fluid, she will drink a little kitten milk but not much. She doesnt seem ill, and plays in the little time she is awake. Also when she eats she cant seem to stop hiccuping and i wonder if this is anything to do with it? Ive booked her in the vets for saturday but in the mean time thought there may be a few suggestions for her in the mean time. ive been told when there third eyelid shows it means almost definately they are ill. but i dont know what to look for/how to help in the mean time. Please help if you can, it will be appreciated by both me and Elsie - the kitten.

so i've called the vet, and they told me to give my cat rice and chicken again ... the rice and chicken didn't help before i doubt it will now. i woke up this morning to cat crap everywhere, and it's honestly stressing me out ( i know that's lame but i can't take it much longer lol ) she's a long haired cat so she keeps crapping on herself and then sitting different places :[ anyway i was wondering if i should call the vet back, she's had diarrhea for about a week again now, going on 2 weeks, but she still acts like a kitten, playing around ..fully energetic, the only thing thought is that she doesn't have her shots, could that be making her have diarrhea? i don't know that else it could be!
help asap!!!!!

Dog was drooling, wetting the floor looked angry and moving around the floor and got up walking dizzy before starting to settle down and do a lot of breathing. The dog had recent walks and going outside in the backyard. What could be the cause? Was it a seizure? He's only 6 years old.

My dachshund has a kind rash on her stomach and a lot of little red bumps but I can't see any flees on her. The frontline isn't working and I've tried giving her a bath. She biting and scratching so much that she's starting to get bald spots. I don't know if she is allergic to something or if it's something she ate. We've stopped feeding her table scraps, cleaned the sheets in our bed, bathed her with flea shampoo, and went through her fur with a flea comb and nothing's worked. We really can't afford to take her to the vet right now, so does anyone know what could be wrong? Thank you.

On his vet card it says SBT but he has slighty longer legs than normal, (couple of inches taller than normal), He has other traits of a SBT but i'm just not convinced, iv been told that he may be crossed with SBT and Pit Bull Terrier, He's very friendly, learns reasonbly quick, loves to play and has large paws. and he's just a year old.
