How much older? Let the same food what?

Depends on how old the older one is. Puppies need different food from adults.

Look at the food that the older one is eating. If it's not puppy food, it's not a good idea to give it to the puppy.

Good luck.

I have pitbulls myself. You should feed your dog puppy food. So if your nephew's dog is still eating puppy food then fine, if not, you need to get the right food for the age of your puppy.

It depends on what food the older one is eating. 8 weeks is a very young puppy. You can feed her canned puppy food, she may be able to eat dry food, but you may have to mix a little in with some wet food or get it wet with either water or puppy formula so it isn't so hard.

If you mean older as in it is eating dog food as opposed to puppy food then no, I wouldn't let the young on eat it. He or She needs puppy food, it has better nutrients for a growing puppy...and will help her or him develope better and stronger. I know it may be a tad more costly to get two different kinds of dog food but it will take longer for them to run out too.
We were also buying 2 kinds as we have two pits one 3 1/2 and one just turned 1, and we just transitioned her. Trust me it is worth it for their growing bones. Feed the little one 3 times a day (about 2 cups total in a day) and the big one twice a day (about 3 cups total a day) and the little one will grow healthy and strong....then you can begin to transition the little to adult food after about 1 yr. (or up to 1 1/2 yrs) just stay with the same brand and flavor of food and it will be a smooth transition..and trust me...just like a kid that little one will be an "adult" before you know it!!!

Depends on the age difference. If the older one is still on puppy formula food then it will be ok if not then it needs different food. Puppies need more amounts of different nutrients then older dogs.

if hes a puppy he needs a puppy diet, a little bit wont hurt him but his system wont take an adult diet, could cause bad upsets of the intestines leading to bleeding, and a lot depends on the age and diet of the other dog, get a good book on the breed, it sounds as if the breed is new to you, always do your research before you get ant animal as a pet,as vet bills are not cheap

I would feed all life stage foods like Canidae. They are for all ages of dogs.
