i just got them yesterday and i moved them into a bigger tank. i put little rocks down and some water so there are dry and wet patches in there. they were moving when i put them in there and i checked on them last nigth and they were both tucked into their shells and one buried itself under a few little pebbles under some water? the other is right near it and they havent moved since last night....dead or alive?

What kinds of different foods can aquatic turtles eat? Such as raw meat, bugs ( what kinds), veggies, etc. I have five: 3 red eared sliders, a stinkpot, and a mud.


Also: How long does it take a turtle egg to hatch? And how do you care for it before then? Do you have to constantly watch it and care for the egg? Or can you leave it for a day or two?

I have a chocolate lab who will be 4 in November. She is currently on her fifth ovulation cycle. We were originally going to breed her, but recently decided not to. Is it too late to fix her? If so, when will she stop ovulating?

they suddenly loose appetite and get a nasty pastel yellow green diearrea that smells like a dead animal. then they get better for about six hours and die. just fall asleep and don't wake up. this one isn't at the diearrea stage yet just no appetite and sleeps a lot.

What your secret, what food do you feed your dog, do you give them human food from time to time. How many walks do you take your dog per day? What brand of food would you recommend.
I owned few dogs before, 2 of them had diabetes when they're about 8, and completely blind by age 10- cataract. Most live about 11years. My son just got his first puppy, I just want to start off right this time.

I caught a lamprey eel in lake michigan over the weekend. The only thing i can find that they eat is flesh and I am not going to feed it the flesh of anything i had. I was wondering if anyone knew what they ate besides blood/flesh. Maybe hotdogs or fish food or something, please help!

I have a 12 weeks old Yorky, we tried to take him for evening walks, but all he does is lay flat on the ground, basically like a piece of rug, refuse to even walk one step, but he'll follow us without a leash, when we go for walks. I'm afriad one of these day he might get run over by a car. So what can I do to make him walk with a leash?

It will be freshwater, and at the aquarium store here enough sand for my aquarium would be like $40. I know I can get play sand for like $3 for a 40 lb. bag. Thanks!

i think my little pet turtle may be sick. are turtles supposed to sneeze while they are in the water?. He makes a little sneezing sound. He just sits on top of his little turtle statue and doesn’t move just sits on top of it and doesn’t come off to eat ether . I want to build my own fishtank because I find the other ones really expensive. I just want to build a 20-30 gallon one. I already googled it and no results came up. Is it possible for me to build one out of pre cut glass? I already repaired a 50 gallon fishtank myself.
