I must discourage you from trying a no-meat diet for your cat. Cats must have very high amounts of protein, and the best way to provide protein that contains all the amino acids they need is by feeding a meat-based diet. Whether you choose a premium commercial food, a home-cooked diet, or a raw diet, meat must be the primary ingredient.
I don't like no-meat diets for dogs, either. We see a client who feeds a vegetarian commercial food along with other veggies and grains. The reason we see this dog is for gastrointestinal disease. The dog is on lifetime medication to keep her belly happy with this diet. I'm sure this doesn't happen to every dog on a no-meat diet, but watching this poor pup suffer with a swollen, gas-filled belly, I cannot in good conscience recommend a no-meat diet to any animal except one that nature intended to be an herbivore.

I'm sure someone does but cats really need the meat to survive and be healthy. They've been carnivores for far too long to be able to easily switch to a vegetarian diet now.

Cats can't survive on a vegan diet, sorry. They're designed for animal protein and do best when given a balanced diet that includes nearly all meat.

i think cats realy need meat, they do also eat some greens but it is limited they need alot of protein. i would try the friskies indoor cat formula it has stuff from greens in it. if you HAVE to go entirely green definatly consult a vetranarian and make sure you get the food with all the dietary nutrition the cat needs, most of all make sure the cat is happy with this change.

cats are carnivores, they MUST eat meat or they cannot survive.
you eat what you want to eat and live however you choose, but please don't put a lifestyle on a cat that it cannot survive, no matter how right you may feel it is..
