Not sure which animals you're referring to here. The only true toads I've seen for aquaria are firebellied toads, which are typically green with a black and orange-red belly. I say typically, because they can become tan, depending on their stress level and background color. While they spend a good portion of their time in the water, these need an area where they can get out of the water completely.

You might be thinking of the African dwarf frog, or African clawed frog - both of which are completely aquatic and need no land area. The dwarfs are suitable to keep with fish that won't harass them, but the clawed frogs will eat fish they can fit into their mouth (and they have large mouths!). All three are egglayers. Here's a link to a site about these: http://allaboutfrogs.org/info/mypets/dwarfs.html - note that hte page is set to the African dwarf, but there's a link within the page to a African clawed frog page.

based on your question Freshwater is far less complicated to maintain, and if artwork is your best difficulty then it is going to likely be extra relaxing. even even with the shown fact that in case you do no longer suggestions the further artwork in conserving the salt water aquarium then it may be the extra useful decision. think of roughly how usually you probably did water variations and annual cleanings. Now double that, is that still something you're able to appreciate? Granted the better the salt water tank the fewer artwork it is going to become, even even with the shown fact that it is going to likely be extra costly. you need to weigh out the innovations, to truly understand that's for you. Salt water fish are many times the prettier fish, yet as a prior poster responded there are enormously FW fish as properly. SW tanks many times boil right down to, are you able to commit the time, attempt, and care into giving the animals the extensive-unfold of existence they desearve?
