do any turtles have disease's? if they do which ones do they all have them?

I put some shrimp pellets, tropical food and some just regular tetra fish food in my tank in the course of a day. A litle bit less then a pinch of each. My clown loaches just swim up and down on 1 cornor of the tank while the other fish, 2 tin foil and 1 shark fish eat the food. I turn the light out and the 2 clown fish go into a hiding spot in a big hallowed out car I have in the tank. Im getting concerned about eating habbits of them. Any reason for action?

At what age do RES's start eating fish? Can anyone give me a lifeline on at what age, what they like to eat, and when they start eating it? Thanx.

I recieved a complaint letter from the LA Animal services( complaint from neighbor) saying my dog barks all day. He does not. Most of the day he is laying on the floor of my living room or swinging on the proch swing. I've been observing him. He has an average of 6 barks a day.
Average incedents:
incedent one: A racoon comes into our yard. Three barks, goes back to swinging on swing.
Incedent three: Stranger comes to our isolated area on a hill. Turns out he's lost. three barks.
I live in a dangerous neighborhood with gangs. I want him to bark if a stranger comes. Nieghbor is from elsewhere, I guess they don't have these problems.
If neighbor complains a second time my dog can be taken away. She does ot want him to make any noise at all. She does not even like it when we go in our own yard. What can I do to protect my dog! Help!

we found this puppy.
it looks like its been fixed.
it could be like 8-10 weeks.
we fed it some puppy chow and it ate till its stomach got hard.
then like
an hour later it started
to through up everywhere.

hes a 10 week sheltie and i started this morning i put him in with a blanket and a toy and every 3 hours i open it take him to the wee wee pad and i keap saying ''bathroom,bathroom,bathroom''. so he dosnt go while i try for 3 min so i give him some food and water and take him to the pad again and i say ''bathroom....'' and he just wannet to play so i put him back in the kennel and afcorse he wines since its new to him but he peed inside the kennel 5 min after i put him in. and every time i take him outside to his wee wee pad he just wants to like play ih ave to hold him or he will run away from the pad.what do i do?...if u only have puppy expereance plz dont wate time if u dont i will know.

He doesnt hunt and pays no attention to live food accept crickets or commercialised turtle food, I'm guessing he is not to old but he/she only eats dead fish and sea food. How can i get him to start eating commercialised food, i want to give him a varied diet, I've owned many turtles before, but im new to this kind of turtle. what should i do he also doesnt seem to fast and i received him upside down.

my dogs have been acting realy bad and have been chewing on the furniture and other household items!!! what should i do to punish them???? ive herd that you could use a wooden cooking spoon and lightly tap them on the but but i wasnt sure. i also herd that you could gently tap them on the nose but still im not sure

Yesterday she was in great spirts walking and even running around and eating really well but fast. Last night we got up several times to help her with her pups (as they were crying ect) and noticed Mum had thrown up (is that normal?) also there are blood stains on her sheet?
Im calling the vet tomorrow where we live now there isnt a vet available til tomorrow as its Sunday and Im stressing about the blood stains should she be bleeding after birth?.

My dog was spayed yeaterday 9/14/07 she has to wear it for 10 days so she doesn't open the dissovable sutures by licking them she just looks so sad and bored she can't go outside, she also has to stay in one confined area shes really bored what can i do to help her any game ideas also she cant run, jump, or swim for 14 days

Is their anything I can do about algae growth in my tank.I have tried live plants and plecos.There is 3 goldfish 3blue , cory cats and 4 white clouds.The tank is only 14 gallons and I know goldfish are dirty so don't tell me multiple times that they are messy and my tank is overcrowded.

My cat is 5 years old. She's a norwegian forest cat, which means she has lonnnnnggg hair that is the hardest to maintain. The first 2-3 years when I had her me and my parents didn't know how to take care of her hair, therefore that ended up with her being sedated 3 times to have her shaved because she is VICIOUS when she leaves the house, and also she still has her claws. She's an indoor cat, so obviously when she leaves the house she goes crazy, and especially at the vet too, which is why she had to be sedated 3 times.
Now she just had her 5th birthday, and for the past 2 years I've been taking very good care of her, mat-free for 2 years until this summer.
I was busy working and schooling, and also went on vacation. My mom doesn't know how to comb her, so now she has mats all over her back (huge painful ones), and tiny ones throughout her body.
So now I am debating on what to do. I seriously cannot cut these mats by myself cuz I will be bleeding from head to toe from her scratching

i got my puppy on thursday night he is 8 weeks old today i phoned the vet to arrange some appointments for check ups and his jags etc
i have always believed jags are done around 8 and 12 weeks but the girl on the phone who told me to bare with her as she was new told me jags wont be done untill he is a few months and not to let him down outside this part i no but jags at a few months? she wasnt sure how many months just a few i couldnt talk to the vet or anyone els as they were busy what age did your puppy have jags at? she asked if he had been wormed..
i wormed him today at 12 noon he was sick at 4pm i did not repeat the dose i was waiting to see what vet said but she said go on it wont do any harm he hasnt ate or drank much today after being sick
what are your thoughts regarding jags and worming tablets ?

my dog trainer cannot work w/ my dog around other dogs because he is too Aggresive/Protective/and Wild. she says if i neuter him he will become A lot less aggressive and will calm down alot more.
