I never knew that greenies were horrible for my puppy and I only fed it one!!! But today, my baby boy has been throwing up and having diarhea!! Is it because of the greenies or is it because my dad bought steak home last night for my puppy?

He's actually doing okay right now, he's very active and drinking water/eating. But he does have diarhea!

I jump started my 30 gallon tank with about 2 pounds of gravel, 5 gallons of water, and the filter from my 10 gallon tank. About how long will my 30 gallon take to cycle? I ran out of master test kits a week ago and haven't been in to buy more.

I am the owner and have put on AKC titles on the dog. She has my dog on a puppy mill site to sell her puppies. She co-bred the litter that my dog came from. She did not have the litter herself. But she is still listed as one of the breeders. Is there any law to stop her from doing this.

SO, a few days ago I got a lil fat goldfish. He was a happy fish and stayed at the top of my 5 gallon aquarium, waiting for me to feed him. Him and my two other goldfish and algae eater were very happy.

Then the new one, Prince Albert, died. And Chester and Lily are suddenly very lethargic and uninterested in food or anything, and are missing scales. i'm terrified, i love these fish to death, but I really don't want them to die. Please help me.

She doesn't seem distressed and let me clean it off a little bit, but the the matting is so thick that it's solid. It's about an inch in diameter across and doesn't seem to be painful to the touch, although she doesn't particularly like me cleaning it. Do I need to take her to an emergency vet?

I've been using a halti on my GSD pup who is just abouts 5 months old now, and she hates it. Infact, She gets worse with it every single day! now it's to the point where she won't even walk with it on, if I take a step she'll jump up and bite either me or the leash in protest. Besides that, when she used to walk on it, she'd pull no matter what, with the halti leaving marks on her face-fur and shutting one of her poor little eyes as she walked!

SOOOoo despite me being so strongly anti-prong collar for years and years, I am thinking it may be a more effective and actually more humane method of controlling her.

What do you think, world? I don't want to be cruel, but I'm not even sure what that is now! halti versus prong, let's hear it.

My two cats won't get along...

One is six months old... The other is three years old. The younger one is nice to the old one, but it's the opposite with the older one. It growls when she sees or even hears the younger one. They are both the same gender, females...

What do I do???

Well i went on holiday and left my two goldfish for two weeks. My mum put in clean water water, a new filter, and an automatic fish feeder that feeds them i think twice a day.
But when i came back they were dead, and the fish and the whole tank were covered in slime.
Did they get a disease or something? The filter was still working when i got back...
could it be the fish feeder?

Ever since we got our kitten (about 3 months ago) she's always wanting to go outside. She doesn't have her shots so I want her to stay an indoor cat, but it seems like everytime someone walks inside the house or if my daughter opens the door (which she's only 2 so she does it very slow) the cat will bolt for the door. Since we've moved here (3 weeks) she has gotten out close to 10 times now, she doesn't leave the property but it is a pain catching her outside, expecially at night. Is there a way I can train her not to bolt for the door at all times? Or should I just let her go outside? If we do let her become an outdoor cat, we would of course put her on a leash. any ideas on that as well?

Another question...I've narrowed down the fish I want to several different species-3 to 4 zebra danios, small schools of 4 to 6 cherry barbs, neons, silver dollars, and bleeding hearts,a corydoras catfish, and a couple of pearl gourami.Sound like a compatible group? The danios, cherry barbs, and tetras grow to be no bigger than 2 inches, the silver dollars can get up to 6,cories are no bigger than 2 1/2 generally, and pearl gourami are around 5.Would a 45 gallon tank be reasonable for these fish?
