I go to my L(saltwater)FS a lot. I was there one day and they got this huge clown trigger i would say about 9 or 10 inches. They put him in a 20g LONG!!!! I would come back to the store a whole lot for 2 months and it was still living healthy and i asked them if it was the same one and they said yes. I told them to put him in a much larger tank but they insisted he was fine, they never listen to the 15 year old kids lol. Finally some idiot bought it for 550$ (Stores a rip off but i sometimes get free stuff). HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT LIVED THAT LONG IN THAT TANK???

I am not hurting her in any way. Whenever I even get the clippers close to her, she snaps at me. I know she has never been injured by clippers before because I've always personally done it or been there when it was done.

She really needs her nails clipped, so please help!

We have two cats who do this. One is Bengal, the other is
Siamese/Manx cross (little black cat). They are healthy,
affectionate, outstanding fur people, just, they do not meow!
They make an assortment of other sounds, talking with us
and each other. Do any of yours do this, or do we have a
couple of strange cats?

Are cat toys w/catnip in them ok for kittens? We have 6 4week old kittens in our garage. I want to give them toys to help encourage them to stay out of things, though we have them sectioned off pretty well.

This morning someone threw a puppy in a bag over my fence :(
The puppy is very small, has fur, looks to me as he has only 2 weeks or so... He has fleas. I don't know what to do, i want to keep him. But what do i feed the puppy at that age? he still needs his mother i think. Do i need to take him to the vet? What type of injections does he need? How do i take care of him? Where should he sleep and how many times a day do i feed him and with what? He can walk, but stumbles, it looks like he only learned to do it not long ago because hes very young. I don't know what breed he is, maybe mixed.

Most likeley a leopard Gecko they look so cool! I just have a coupl things to ask.
1. How often do you feed them? I am ok with the cricket thing. That is what they made sinks, soap, water, and gloves for!
2. Could I keep 2 in a 20 gallon aquarium?
3. Could you dish out some websites for them?
4. Do they bite and would it hurt?
5. How much would all this cost? Do they need a light heater thing? I have the aquarium already. Thanks a bunch!

DAy 1 Fish got over fed.
Day 2 tank got reallly cloudy
End of the day 3 2 of our 6 fish have died.
Day 4 (today) 1 more of our fishpasted aaway and we put in "Crystal Clear" one drop per gallon.

I have heard that if the room temperature is warm enough,that you dont need a heat source,is that true?
I live in Florida so it's never gets very cold.I mean I'm going to get a heating pad (better be safe than sorry) but I didnt know if it's true that it's not always needed.

I rescued a dog at the end of June, this year. And, later found out through 2 different vets that the dog is a Staffordshire Terrier.

My apartment manager told me NO pets were allowed here....AT ALL. I was forced to call animal control. :(

The day that she was going to be "put down" I went against the managers wishes, and went and got her. She is too good of an animal to be euthenized.

The lady at the shelter told me that this dog was NOT going to be adopted out....AT ALL. This was due to her breed! The ONLY reason she allowed me to get her was because she knew the story behind it.

Before rescuing her, I was afraid of dogs (all dogs, especially the bigger ones). Of all breeds to rescue, it was a "pitbull." I put that in quotations because the of the research I have done. I have learned that the term "pitbull" is actually a slang term. Not an actual breed.

My question...

What can be done to keep this breed and others from becoming "black listed?"

My guppy tank doesn't have aquarium salt in it. I know my guppies will be healthier if I put it in. Will suddenly adding it shock my guppies? Is aquarium salt good for guppy fry (babies)?

When I got my dog they told me she was mix chow and lab because she had a spotted tongue. I noticed that there are a few breeds with spotted tongue. However she is 1 years old and big she weighs about 75lbs and has huge heavy paws. looking for pictures to compare she compared most with some RR but she doesn't hair the directional hair. I knew there would an issue with them coming home smelling like the vet. Would it be better to separate them for a while? The older cats are smacking and hissing at them. Even their best buddy Cornbread who was missing them so much!

my cat has been sucking/licking my blanket. it wouldn't bother me but he's doing it so close to my face and he gets the blanket really wet, then i have to sleep w/ a wet cold blanket. i don't want to be rude to him and push him down. Does anyone have any ideas on getting him to stop, i'm not going to kick him out of the room.

Took perfectly 2 yr old dog to Vet for his shots. 3 days later dog was lethargic etc, and had drips out of rear. Called Vet and they said -- oh bring it in, it isn't due to anything we did, we will have to charge you full admission fees and check-up fees again etc!! That night took dog to Emergency Vet and my Dog died -- ER Vet said likely due to poisoning (INSIDE dog so that is out, plus we have another dog and cat that are perfectly healthy) OR a reaction to the shot.

Can I SUE this jerk of a VET!! (first one of course)
