Wow - you just don't listen, do you? Put the rabbit back where you found it.

Don't take it to a vet, animal shelter or humane society. They are not trained, equipped, licensed or PAID to deal with wild animals.

You may never see the mother rabbit, but she is still around.

What you are doing is wrong on so many levels. You have no idea what you are doing, and you are causing great harm to this poor baby rabbit.

One other thing...posting this question over and over is considered spam, and against community guidelines.

Do NOT send it to an animal shelter - this is a WILD animal - animal shelters and veterinarians and the SPCA are all for pets. They do not have the expertise needed for treating wild animals, and they do not have the proper licenses to keep them while they recouperate.

If you refuse to do the right thing and put it back for its mother to care for it, then contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. You can find one here: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.htm

These people have the specialized training to care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. They also have the required state and federal licenses that allow them to keep wild animals until they are healthy enough to be released back into the wild.

In the future, leave wild animals where they belong - in the wild.

You need to put the rabbit back where you found it or give it to a licensed rehabilitator. What you have done is completely illegal.
Good rule of thumb to live by, "If you care, leave them there!"
Lots of young wildlife can appear to be abandoned, but really they've just been stashed away while mom gathers food.
Another rule to go by is if you need to chase the animal in order to "help" it, it doesn't need your help.
You have only decreased the chances of survival for this animal.

I had three baby squirrels that didn't have their eyes open yet and the mother had abandoned them or had died. I called the vet and he suggested that I come up and get a can of puppy formula and a small bottle. I bottle fed all three of them and even got up every two hours to feed them around the clock. After they became old enough I started to feed them other foods. I let them go back outside and put a feeder up on a near by tree and put peanuts in the shell in their feeder. They continued to let me feed them and one day they just all grew up and disappeared. Probably found other interests but I feel good that I helped out three baby squirells that probably would of died without my help.

try dipping your finger in some milk and allowing the rabbit to lick it off. It has been nursing its Mother so it does not know how to drink from a bowl. Also, warm the milk, about 2 tblespoons for about 3 seconds in the microwave and make sure it is not too hot. Let us hear how it is going.

Look on the internet for a wildlife rehabilitation agency and take the bunny to them otherwise it might die.

put it back where you found it.
and let mother nature take its course.
if he dies, he dies, if he lives, he will be happy and free.
or you could be a cruel pet owner and keep it in captivity,
i know its not what you wanna hear, but its the truth.
or you take take him to the vet and see what they say. i garentee you theyll say let him go

oh that is sad.....i think you should do these
1. ethier, help it by holding it and give like a bottle with milk or some bunny liquid food.
2. then next put it outside if you have a fence, then see if it wants to leave. If it does let it go but.....say BYe
HOPE THAT BUNNY WILL BE OK!

Take it to the vet OR buy some of those surrenge feeders and try to hand feed the baby.
