I have two rats. One with balls and one without. The one without is bigger and looks to have a potential vagina. How can i tell if this is a male or female rat? If it is female when will its vagina open? (meaning seperation of the two? Also can i determine the age of the rats based on their size?

i am thinking of getting a parrot..
i am stuck between an eclectus parrot and a conure (either sun or green cheek).
can you compare and contrast them?
i am looking for a good companion parrot.

My dog ate some of my bbs for my bb gun. I left some of my bbs in my basements and she found it and ate it. Then that day she pooped out bbs. Is it bad for her. She poops every two hours. She sometimes has a hard time to poop and it takes too long for her to poop. Is the bbs the cause of my problem?

I know that himalyan is actually the color of a persian with "points", but they are not registered the same. Would it be unethical to breed the two (if they were of breed standard of course)?

FYI: not a breeder, just curious.

Well i gotta horse trailer that i had loaned to my uncles and they ruined the lighting. Like all the lights do not work at all even if its pluged in. Anybody know if there is any thing on the web that i could use to fix my trailer. The trailer is a 1994 W-W two horse trailer. thank you for helping.

I'm living with my parents right now (I'm 18) and I have my 1 year old cat and my 4 month old puppy with me. Last night I put my puppy on a leash in the backyard to use the bathroom and my mom and dad were on the couches in front of our backdoor and windows which are all made of glass, so I figured she'd be ok and they could watch her. I went to my room and when I came back the dog was gone. Her leash and collar were in our backyard and my parents had fallen asleep. The thing is the collar was undone, somebody had to undo it. This happened before. We had a dog before who we'd put out for a bit, and we know for a fact our neighbor stole him because she came and knocked on our door at 2 in the morning and said, "don't worry i reported your dog stolen to the police." We didnt even know he was gone! She had kept asking us before if she could have our dog cuz shes moving to the country and its better for dogs to be in the country than in suburban neighborhoods.

So we have three really small turtles in a 10 gallon tank. We have a water filter, and decorative rock, and that floating rock thing. We have the tank probably about 3/4s full with water. Is this ok for the small turles? They're not babies or anything but I just didn't know how long turtles can hold their breath and if swimming to the top all the time is too much work for them. They do seem to have fun swimming around though. Anyone know if I need to decrease the amount of water or not?

My Chihuahua, Roxxi, has only eaten people food since I got her when she was a little puppy. The vet said that little dogs are picky, so give her rice and ground meat. Well, now she WILL NOT eat dog food at all. I usually give her table scraps (minus poultry bones, because they can puncture the organs). The vet said that she is healthy, etc. But, now, we got a kitten, and Roxxi eats all of her food! I have to seperate them just so Roxxi won't eat all of her food. Roxxi actually likes it more than the kitten does? Is this bad??

My gold mollie who i think might be pregnant is looking a bit poorly tonight, she and her mate usually swim together all the time but tonight she is very quiet and didnt eat much at tea time, i've also noticed that one of her side fins looks a little ragged, maybe she has been picked on, although there has been complete harmony in my tank for ages now, any ideas guys,, also how do i know if she is about to have babies onlyi have a breeding tank but not sure when or how to use it , it also looks a bit small for her. thanks for any help you may have

It was very disturbing. I think I will be traumatised for a while. Anyways, I'm driving down this residential street, and there's this apartment complex. Out front, a fire truck is parked and there are two dogs fighting. The firemen are spraying the dogs with a high pressure hose, and they are still fighting. So, one of the dog's owners goes inside, grabs his glock and unloads three shots in one of the dogs. Obviously he died. I had to go, but I still feel kind of f--ed up about the whole deal. What do you think? Was it OK for the dude to just lay three bullets in the dog?

i am assumeing that this little colony of xenia spread from my bigger xenia. The small colony doesnt look like its doing to well. i removed all the dead stuff off of it but now it has pale green tips where you can see the stems are suppose to be purpleish. and its all closed up tightly. It still seems to be pulsing somewhat . What can i do to revive it? or do i catch it to late?

I have a Maine Coon/tabby kitten. Shes 9 months and 2 weeks. And she weighs about 6.5 pounds and 5 pounds sometimes. is this normal for her..... she eats really good.
If i look for her, shes always eating... she gets plenty of exercise. And she looks healthy. its just her weight i'm worried about.....

first of all, what do you think of meow mix brand cat food? i used to buy whiskas, then bought mm by accident...and since i know switching food is bad i just kept buying mm. my one year old cat doesnt seem to like it as much. hell eat it, but is just not as "excited" about it lol. what should i do? if you suggest new brand, keep in mind that i want to stay in same price range as mm. ok, next question: im adopting 2 new kittens in a few days, and I cant pick names. ones a orange and white female with big pale green eyes. the other one is a male gray, black, and white striped kitty. any suggestions? last question I promise: when the cat food says "for cats and kittens" on the bag, does that mean any age cat can eat it? and if not, if I buy food thats just for kittens for the new kitties, then how old do they have to be before they eat cat food?
