cause i need a fish that moves sand alot so i dont get poison gasses under my sand bed in my tank and i dont want to get snails so am seeing what else i can use .

Some of the loaches (dojo, kuhli) depending on the size and temperature of your tank. The dojo likes somewhat cooler water than tropical.

If you get a coarse (large-grained) sand and it's not too deep, you shouldn't have much of a problem with the hydrogen sulfide. You can also stir it occassionally yourself with a dowel rod or bamboo skewer.

I used Horseface Loaches.

They spend most of their time under the sand, occasionally poking their heads out to sift the top layer of sand through their little hoover heads. They're non-violent, and live pretty well with most species.

They can swim through a couple inches deep of sand or rocks with no problems. Its pretty remarkable to see adult specemins in action.
