The fact that she is slowing down may mean it is time. If you have one of those lil breeding tanks that are about 5 in x 2 or 3 in that float in the top of the tank... you can put her in it. As soon as you think she is done though you need to remove her or she will eat the babies. If you have a breeder that is just a lil net box that floats on the top you could do the same thing but you really have to watch her to prevent any fry from becoming food. As long as your tank has lil tiny spots that the other fish can not fit in such as spots under decorations or lil holes in decorations, then they should be fine if she births them in the open. They will swim and hide right away. Then you can get a fry net and catch them and put them in the breeder tank. The best advice is to just watch her. Chances are she is getting close - like tonight kinda close. The best thing would be to put her in the breeder tank before she starts having them and then remove her as soon as she finishes.
Have fun!!! Good Luck I hope this helped!!

The not eating is a sign for her that she is short before birth
If you can avoid it, don't put her in the breeder
Get reall plants instead, they are really good places for fry to hide

Good luck
