I have an italian greyhound, I have allergies and i really don't get any allergy reactions... When I searched for hypoallergenic dogs i got italian greyhound but I dont think that info was right cus it was only on one site, but i got a very sweet loving dog, and I might get a few sneezes here and there

No, they don't tend to be.
there is no truely "hypoallergenic" dogs, but there are breeds out there that are less bothersome to those with allergy issues.
Some common breeds:
Bischon Frise, poodle, schnuzer, kerry blue, soft coated wheaten....and....the italian greyhound.
If you are a sighthound lover, like myself, the Italian Greyhound might be a good choice (my hubby is pretty allergic to dogs...but never knew it b/c we have IGs!). Now....there personalities are VERY different from full sized Greys. They are VERY loving, energetic, goofy, and passive. They don't tend to be very dominate. They are like part dog, monkey and cat! They have a lot of cat-like qualtiies, and aren't your normal dog. They are not the breed for everyone. There are a lot of iggy's in rescue b/c they tend to be a popular breed with puppymills (they are cute and clean little dogs...they sell easy). I would recommend reading more about them at:

They are not considered hypoallergenic, and they do shed more than you might think. HOWEVER, my son is allergic to dogs and he is able to tolerate greys with no issues. We adopted a grey and she has been a fantastic pet. If you are thinking of a grey, I highly recommend meeting a few greys and petting them, and seeing how you react. You may be lucky. :)

Not really. But they don't shed as badly as some other dogs either.
