My dog is 6 months old, mini douchshund.. For the past 3 days he has been throwing up once in the morning but nothing comes up.. it looks like yellow liquid or stomach acid..? a few days ago i thought maybe he had a hair ball or something... so i didnt think too much of it. My dog is potty trained but for the past two days in a row before i even woke up he pooped three times in a row even once on the bed and its very soft and watered poop not very solid at all like it usually is!!! (which he had NEVER done even when he was potty training) Like as soon as he woke up he just went! I took him out lastnight but he wouldnt go poop. Now this morning he gagged up the same liquid.. hes now curled up into a little ball laying down, i think he has the chills but i cant tell if maybe hes just cold?? I dont know what to do!! and I dont have alot of money to take him to the vet.. Does anyone know what these symptoms could be? and do vets take payment plans?

My roommate has an 18 month old Maltese that stays at home while we are at work - during these cold winter months, what is a comfortable yet affordable temperature to keep the thermostat for her dog at during the day?

any info that may help would be great. I really dont like Ivermec because it can kill the dogs. Since these are strays theres no way to know what they are mixed with.

Please dont say to go to the vet. The vet has been there and remeber these are shelter dogs the city wont pay for vetting, and we cant pay to treate them all at the vet.

he got cut by a tree branch on his back hip about a month ago, my other cat has been keeping it clean for him, it doesnt seen to be bothering him but sometime it will puss. I can't afford to take him to a vet, I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to put hydrogen peroxide or iodine on it, like i said its not bothering him and seems to be healing alright, think i should just leave it alone?

My cat by mistake got out of the house when I was in the hospital. She had been outside since September 06 I finally caught her today and she is very skinny and scared. She has been a house cat since birth (that's 2 years) and my other cats don't remember her. What should I do to get the other cats not to beat her up? And what can I do to make her not scared?

I have been speaking to sassy off list (the one who "breeds" pitty's and had the female that she did not seek vet care for 24 hours for). I was wondering how you guys feel, because I don not agree with it, about someone who has four litters at the same time?

I'm planning on getting a Ribbon snake when I move out. I want a small snake that won't get too large. I've done my research and figured that this is probably the best for me. Anyone have any advice about feeding, handling, etc?

All answers appreciated! =]

He's pretty young, and we've only had him a few days, and he wants to come out and see us when we're near the cage, but he won't come out of his tube unless we move the wood chips around. Then he gets mad. He seems to be hungry. If we offer him food when he comes out, he grabs it and runs back in to eat it. I don't think he's had any water either... spends his whole life in the tube. Should I take the tube out? or will this stress him out too much? What should I do? we'd like to see our gerbil.
