I have been stuck on finding a name thats not to rough like "Rocky" but its still a boy so we don't want Fluffy or something like that. Whats a good name for my male dog?

Note- Can't be Tucker or Teddy (great names though) but another dog in the neighborhood has those names

I take her for walks, I feed her, I always buy her toys and bring them home to her and watch her get all excited, I bathe her, If she gets sick I take care of her and baby her until she's well, I do everything for her. All he does is come home from work and play with her for a few minutes and she's crazy about him. When I come home, she barely acknowledges me. When we settle in for the evening, she prefers sitting on his lap. I don't get it. He barely does anything for her.

When I do a weekly 15-25% water change with the vacuum, should I add more chemicals (such as Aqua Safe and Easy Balance)? When I suck out the water, I have to add more [water], and more being tap water, and that's dangerous for the fish, right? What do I do???

I recently asked about a Jack Russell and am finding out that they are high strung. My lifestyle cannot handle that type of dog. I need a small laid back, non hyper type of dog. How are Yorkies? I had a poodle and she was more than hyper. Just down right wild. She needed alot of room to run and play which I did not have so I found the perfect family for her.

Okay not to be mean but I think my dog is a little mentally retarded...when I correct him and tell him to go to his bed or to the corner or something he acts like he is going to do it but then tries to bite me when I go to pick him up to bring him there or correct him, because he becomes a statue and wont move to where I wanted him to because he feels like he doesnt half too and then after correcting him he shakes for hours and hours on end to get someone attention because he acts like he was abused, believe me I tap him compared to what I think he should get and then whimpers and makes noises till someone picks him up and if no one does he goes to run off to someone who he knows will give him pitty and snuggle him after he got correct, what the heck do I do because he is learning nothing when I correct him this way!!!

Ok heres what is going on!! The person im married to son (hes 18 by the way and still in school) around christmas got his g/f a chocolate lab as a present..However the pup stays here never goes to his gfs house and he is hardley ever here and so we are left taking care of it...We are up all night every night taking care of this dog becasue he is trying to crate train it and it wakes up ever 30 min wanting out so we never get any sleep..However they wont make him get rid of the dog even tho they know how I feel about the situation. I made it clear that it was not right that this pup was brought in and didnt even ask if it was ok..Then we end up taking care of it more than he does..Also if it was a christmas present why doesnt his gf have it at her house.. I know the answer to last question and thats because her parents wont let it stay there..I dont want it here either but its not my kid so how do I get it out of this house?

Ok guys. I asked a question the other day about this and since then we have come up with 3 names we like. He is a 7wk old black labradoodle puppy. The first name is Sirus (Sie-rus). I like this name because it is strong, easy to call, and masculine. The second name is Ozzy. This is the name my mother likes and is sort of a neutral between mine and my sisters. The third is Cosmo. It is ok, buy my sis is the one that likes it the most. I think we will get tired of it after so many years but I thought I would see what you guys have to say. I need some advice on these kind of dogs. Do they have to have a certain kind of diet? Do they need a lot of room to run around? Any information would help. I am not very fond of big dogs so that is why I would prefer a breed like the yorkie. Also, I am getting the puppy at a pretty inexpensive price ($400), should I be alarmed? I know that these type of dogs can be very expensive.

i have a 7 year old dog with a gentle temperment and have newly aquired a 2 yr old cat. cat has been hiding behind the sofa since it arrived and hisses and boxes the dog when it gets the chance. dog is extremely alert and licks it chops when the cat meows and gets excited when close enough. anyone got any ideas on how to make them get along??? i'm feel sorry for the cat but the dog is the "queen of the house" because she was here first.
so far i have been taking the cat out and showing it to the dog (while on sit and stay) and they just seem to stare at each other. dont want to get rid of either so they are going to have to get along. any bright ideas?? or how long do you think they'll take to get along????? thanks!!!

I have a 10 gal tank w/ filter, UV light, thermometer.. I Keep it at 76-78F. I have: a Dwarf Gourami, Rainbow/Red-fin Shark, Mickey-Mouse Platy, Otocinclus, and a Bloodfin Tetra. Since we got the aquarium a little before Christmas, I lost a Crowntail Betta, Bloodfin Tetra, and an Albino Cory. We have 4 upright plants anchored by the gravel and two rock houses.
My questions are:
*I like to keep the tank extra clean. How often do I use the rock vacuum?
*My pH is at 63 and my Alkalinity at 180-240ppm, is that ok?
*Should I leave the tank light on 24/7 or should I turn it off at night?
*I like all my fish, but want a couple more. Any suggestions on what I should get?
*My other tetra died from ick, I think I also killed the cory while treating the tetra. How do I not kill my Otto if I have to treat again? (I used Quick Cure)
*We did an almost 100% water change last week and used Tetra Aqua Safe and Tetra Easy Balance. What do I do next?
*I want this to go well. Suggestions please??
