It kind of depends on how much she's doing it. I used to know an Afghan who chased her tail until she fell down dizzy but otherwise she was fine and only chased her tail when she was first let out.
Have you tried to distract her-- squeaky toys playing ball etc. when she starts. Also some kind of obedience training might give her something to think about if she's bored.

She's fine. My dog does it sometimes, too. If they get bored with their toys or if they just feel like it, they'll chase their tail. Mine chases and bites her tail if she sees it wagging.

yeah it's fine! my westie is nearly 7 yrs old and she still does it then pounces on a toy. the more we laugh the more she does it. she does catch her tail sometimes but she never learns just does chases it again. lol!

my dogs do that a lot( i have three) usually they just want attention try talking to them or holding them. Dogs do that it is perfectly normal!!!
