All dogs with fur will shed. It may not be as noticeable with short-haired dogs as much as it is with long-haired, but every dog sheds.

All dogs shed to some degree, but some of the "hypoallergenic" dogs have continuously growing hair, and shed less frequently.
These are typically poodles, yorkies, schnausers, maltise, bischon... there are several more.
One of the reasons people are starting to do a lot of crosses is to expand the number of dogs that are easy on the allergy prone. Labradoodle and other mixes with poodles are becoming very common.

All dogs will shed to some degree, depending on the breed. But there are things that you can do to help limit the amount of hair around the house. Brushing them regularly will help remove loose hairs and will keep them from ending up on the couch. Regular bathing and grooming (if needed) can help as well. There are also vitamin supplements that you can add to your dog's food that will help decrease the amount of lost hair. Look for products containing Omega - 3 (to promote healthy skin and hair, among other things).

Every kind of dog sheds, except for hairless.
Some do not shed as much as others, though.
I would recommend West Highland White Terrier. (Westie)
They dont' shed that much, and you can only tell when you brush them. Also, do some research on the breed of dog you want before you get it.

A Maltese does not shed but their hair will break. You should use human hair products on them.. They do not have fur.. they have hair and it grows and has to be cut or it will get very very long.
This is a very majestic and beautiful breed and they are just as white as Angels and will give you little Angel Kisses.
GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST

umm, poodles and malteses don't shed. also, laso apsos, shitzus... mostly all of the dogs you can think of that need to go to the groomer and have their hair cut. of course, there will always be some shedding, but because these dogs have hair and not fur, the don't shed anymore than people do.
