My vet prescribed Clavamox an antibiodic for my cat. It is a liquid with a dropper. She refuses to take it, and has scratched me all up. I live alone, so I have no one to help me.

So why not trick her in to thinking its a treat. By taking a little piece of bread the size of my little fingers nail and putting the one dose of medicine on it and mixing it with a 1/4 teaspoon canned cat food till its all mixed up good and giving it to her.

We are affraid to remove the eggs as they were laid over a 10 day period and we do not know which may be good or bad. I assumed that she would have thrown the bad eggs out of the nest by now.

My 2 year old beagle recently was diagnosed with whipworm for the second time in a year. We treated him once for it and he is on Revolution which is basically takes care of everything. Well the vet called today and he has them AGAIN! She said our yard must be infected with them or something. He DOES eat my other dogs "feces" - gross i know! But we always catch him too late. What I need to know is how on earth do I get rid of these in my yard so he doesnt get them again? Please help and if you could leave an email or something if I get confused! Thanks =] HELP!

I was reading that you should train them carefully so they dont become overly agressive or dominant. How do I go about training them the proper way? I want a loving, somewhat protective, gentle dog that gets along with other dogs. Any information in general is welcome also.

My cat is 5 years old and he had this really bad habit that makes me crazy!!! He doesn't drink water from a bowl! He'd rather have you turn the tub faucet on so he can drink from it. He wakes me up in the middle of my sleep just to get some water. And if I do put water in a bowl for him he knocks it over!! Like he's too good to drink water from a bowl. How can I break this habit?? I'll try ALMOST anything.

i have a dachshund he is 1yr. 6 mnths. I been feeding him his food but eveytime we eat i give him little pieces of what ii eat.

today i give him about 8 small cuts of beef sauteed with soy sauce and garlic. and he seems fine we were even playing but then just 15 mins. ago he started throwing up about 4 times and he is shivering. i give him 1/2 teasoon of pepto bismol. i don't know what else to do.

last year he had diarrhea and throwing up and hewas poo-ing with loose stool every 3 mins. i took him to the vet and vet said he was dehydrated, and give him meds. he got it from me giving him sausage links.
i know it's my fault for feeding him greasy food, can you please tell me what home remedy i can do,can't afford the vet.
and please no bland rice and chicken .

My cat has a lot of trouble with hairballs. She is a short coat mix, but her fur is very thick. She often throws up - mostly clear fluid (I'm assuming stomach juices) and a mat of hair. But sometimes she also throws up right after she eats - and again there will be hair in the mixture. I have put her on hairball control food and tried giving her various over the counter hairball control cat treats. Nothng seems to help. Do you know of a better product? Or is there a prscription drug my vet can prescibe?

oh, and I do brush her almost daily.
