She takes all of my things like clothes, bras, bundles of yarn that i knit with. Do you know why my dog takes my things and buries then in the back yard?

U got me thinking now. I use to own 2 female dogs back then and they would do exactly the same thing. But now that I have noticed with my 2 male dogs that I have now, they actually do the same thing, except that they don't bury them. My 2 dogs always go in my room and just take anything they find and just go drop it on the back yard, but never bury anything. The truth, I think it's just a habit that dogs have, but since females are always different than males, then that's why I believe your dogs buries your stuff.

Well if it is a female dog then that is an easy answer. The reason she takes your stuff and buries it in the ground is because she is trying to protect it. She acts as if these things are her pups. This might be a sign of pregnancy or loneliness.

If it is a male then it could be a little more difficult. He might be lonely and wants a mate. He might also want you to play with him.

I have not heard of a dog that takes it's humans personal items and bury them. BUT, my dog tries to take his toys out to bury them. Right now he is obsessed with a very old pork chop bone he got out of the garbage. EVERY SINGLE DAY he goes out and digs it up and chews it a few minutes and then he has to go bury it in another place. That is the saddest looking bone I have ever seen.

You have to find out what that means. Maybe she just doesn't like you and wants to make you mad. Or she loves you and wants to give you a reason to shop.

Your dog is collecting things for later....lol
My dog takes the neighbors paper and brings it to me, and has stolen a large amount of shoes....she's about to be on the most wanted list!!!
I always get the items back because they think its funny, but it's entertaining your dog, try getting some toys and not leaving the door open all the time.

I'd say that she wants somone to play with her. My dog used to do the same thing but now we take her for 2 walkes every day and we play with her in the back yard, now shes to tired to take anything of my cloths.

My shepherd does that ALL the time! We think she does it because she wants to be chased - the dog can not get enough attention! The more we chase her, the more she runs with it and "shows off", and tha happier she is. In our case, it's a matter of wanting to play. :)

It's a security thing for the dogs where if something is special to them they hide it in a place they feel is safe. The things you use have your scent on them so they make her feel secure so she burries them to keep them safe. It's her little way of letting you know she loves you.

You don't share your stuff with her. If you knit her a few things she will bury hers instead of yours

My old dog does that with her toys, etc. It's like they think they have something good, so they better save it for a rainy day.

Cause thats what dogs do. Advice: get a gold fish and give the dog to someone who understands it!
