My dog thinks my two guinea pig are her puppies but she never had a litter. She is spayed and she sniffs them and licks them and watches them when they play. My grandma says it was a big mistake showing them to her. Now every time i go into my room to get a pice of paper or somthing she runs in befor i can stop her. What should i do? Im not getting rid of neither of them ok.

I love both and cant decide if I should get a cat or a dog.
I live right next to the park so the dog would not be any trouble.

My daughter bought a 10 gallon tank out of her birthday money about 2 years ago. I told her to start off with goldfish until she got the hang of caring for fish, 2 years later the bloody fish are still alive!! LOL. They stink to high heaven, LOL, but she doesn't want to get rid of them, she bought 4 fish (3 goldfish and 1 algea eater). I clean the tank about once a week (I don't take all the water out) and change the filter but it still stinks. I want to get her a better filter (and hopefully that will help) right now she has one that hangs on the outside of the tank with a pipe/tube going inside to suck the "stuff" out (it came with the tank) What's the best type of filter to use for those SMELLY buggers? LOL

For example:I can take a dog in a room an have him/her learn how to play dead in half an hour or less, sit in 10 mins etc.. My dog knows every trick in the book plus some I think I invented myself. Every dog I've come across, (even my sister's old dog {world's stupiest mutt}) managed to learn very fast. Its like a gift I guess. But I have no college under my belt at all. I have no idea what to charge, if people would even call, that is. Any suggestions?,(Besides college, I will go, but not for that profession)

my kitten fell off the kitchen table onto a carpeted floor. she is hiking up her hind leg, and crying on occasion, she will sit on my lap, lay on her side that appears injured and still purrs. how would i spot a break? i am concerned taking her to a vet if it may not be a broken bone because of how expensive a visit can be (plus she has no shots, indoor cat). Is there anything i can look for to spot a potentially dangerous (and painful) problem?

my brother is going to california for Christmas and left me his cat to watch for 3 weeks. I already have 2 cats of my own and things are going well. as I already assumed...they hate eachother and now even my 2 cats hiss at eachother. Stewie (my brothers cat) wont eat or drink or even come out to use the litter box. I honestly dont think hes gone to the bathroom in 24 hours. if he has it was in the middle of the night and thats it since then. my question is....how can i get him to eat and come out from under the bed? if i take him out he cries then runs back into the bedrrom.

What happens with the cycle of Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate when a tank is cycling before fish are added. Since there is carbon in the filter, bacteria will begin to grow on this, but will they have the right enzymes/inhibitors to break down Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate when fish actually are added?

My cat has some clumps of fur on his back that won't come out. A friend told me to give him vegetable oil so I mixed a spoon of olive oil with a bit of tuna and it seemed to improve his fur. Then another friend told me to give him fish oil instead so I did but he barely touched it, and then he vomited later so I won't do that again! My question is, is it really okay to give him vegetable oil and what kind is best? He eats dry diet cat food so it's very low in fat, and I doubt if he gets enough essential fatty acids.

It seems to have scratched all the feathers off the back/neck area. Its really red and bleading. The bird is about 8 years old and has never had a problem before. It is always in its cage, when it goes outside it stays in the cage. What is this? The pet store said it was probably stress and to get it new toys and such. I say bull.....?

I have been mixing up nightcrawlers (bloodworms) and mealworms coated in calcium every other day. I'm wondering if that is enough...a mealworm each every other day and a half of a night crawler the next day.
