We have a 14wk old cat who is quite comfortable inside the home. But to keep her stimulated I have started taking her outside. The first time it was scary for her but now when i take her outside she is more confident but likes to go in the bushes. My only problem is that i spend an hour trying to catch her once shes in them. I am lucky so far she has not jumped the fence or anything but I want her to be able to go outside and then come back in. When i take her in her carrier she acts frozen and scared and i tried the leash and she has a hatefull look in her eyes when i pick her up and to bring her back in or make her stay away from the bushes because i know i wont be able to catch her.

1-How will my cat even know how to come back to the house if i let her venture outside. Im confused how cats come and sit by the door where they live after they have been out all day. I mean will my cat do that how does one even know?

I know my cat will find MANY OTHER CAT FRIENDS but how

I have taken it away from her, but she really seems to like chewing on them. She pretty much rips apart any stuffed toy in a matter of minutes. She is half beagle and half cocker spaniel.

My dad has a one and a half year old basset hound whom he got at a shelter about 6 months ago. He has had occassional problems pooping inside, but nothing horrible. He told me this morning that Homer had wet his bed. He was laying on his blanket asleep while the family watched a movie. My dad got up to let him out after the movie finished, and he was laying in a puddle of urine.

Does he need to go to the vet? Does this sound psychological or physical?

Thanks!

Z has about 7 spots on her back of ringworm that is basically healed (it has been like 12 weeks)...the hair has grown back, but ust not really long yet. You can still see under the fur and the skin is a little more pink than the regular skin...is this normal? I am keeping her away from the other cats becasue of these pink spots, but if they are ust scars, i might ust call the battle and say i won and let her out!!

Scars or not??

I have had the puppy for a bout 2 and half weeks, she has had bad diarrhea since she went to the vets for her 1st injection she then develop the diarrhea. A week wnt past she then had her second injection, we told the vet he gave her some powder to help but has not. She is very lively and happy in her self, she is eating and drinking well. But always seems to be starving. she has lost a little weight but has put some back on. it sometimes seems to get a little better but then the next one seems to be the same as it was before.

I have a red ear slider turtle somewhere at home. He's been missing for two days and I've searched everywhere for him. I've placed a little dish of water near where I last saw him so I'm hoping that he will come for the water when he's thirsty. I'm really worried about him because he needs to be in at all times and it's been two days already. My dad says turtles can sense where water is but I'm in doubt because my turtle is grow in captivity and I'm afraid he might be incapable of finding water.

Unfourtately field bred, and no one knows when she was bred, My ? is how far along in mths does she have to be before I can see and feel the foal move?? She was with the stallion all winter not seperated at after the birth of her 1st foal until april or may of 2006. Then he was returned in the 1st week of June and no interest in breeding my mare just protective of her and her foal. Please help she is very pregnant and I am going crazy trying to figure this out. I can see and feel the foal kick, mostly when momma is eating or drinking cold water.
So I know she is with foal.

I want to get a muntjac deer but I do not know much about them. I would like to know what they eat, how big they get, where they need to be kept, how much they are to buy, and other things like that, and also where I can buy one.

Ok. Other than for a stallion to check a mare for heat. Why else does a horse especially a pregnant mare flip up her top lip. Just like a stallion does??? My mare is pregnant and she does this alot. I dont know when she was bred cause she was feild bred and already in foal when I bought her. Thanks in advance,

I have a 3 yr old lab who is great. the only problem we have ever had w/ him is that he is dog aggressive. He loves cats but can't stand other dogs. Last month my brother in law moved in our guest house with his 6 yr old wiemerramer( spelling sorry). They have to share a yard and because my lab keeps trying to kill his dog we have to take them out in shifts. Is there any way we can get these two male dogs to get along or am I just eat up w/ wishful thinking?

I have a year old husky mix who is perfectly housetrained. I just introduced a 4 month old corgi puppy to her, and they got along fairly well. The problem is that the corgi puppy isn't housetrained. I don't mind cleaning up her mistakes in the house, but the husky has started smelling her mistakes and then defecating or urinating right next to them! Is this normal and is there any way I can prevent this?
Thanks!
