Ha ha ha! Chirping cocktails! Maybe they need to be stirred.

Oh...you meant cockatiels? Try giving them some food. That might help.

They are either chirping because they want your attention or they are trying to communicate with you. If they are constantly chirping to the point where everyone is getting frustrated, cover up the cage for a little while to say 'quiet down'. They usually respond well with that. Only leave them covered for a short period or take them out of their cage and give them the affection they desire.

If your cocktails keep on chirping, you've had too many to drink

If your cockatiels keep on chirping, that's what birds do

I have four cockatiels. They always seem to chirp because they're like talking to each other. It might be just a bird thing. I don't know. If you cover them up when they get loud, they should stop. It works for my birds. Just remember not to keep it over them too long. Don't forget to take it off.

birds chirp period. one of the ways they communicate. give attention. let your "cocktails" = cockatiels out the cage in a closed room for exercise, give them some varied food to eat besides seed (spinach, carrot sticks, maybe an apple slice to munch on). clean water EVERY day. give lots of attention. let them get used to climbing on you.

You havent described fully on whats going on. If your cockatiel keeps on chirping continuesly for a while, then that means she wants to mate.

Chirp, squeak, chatter, whistle, That's what Cockatiels do, They are probably happy the sun is out or happy to see you, or want to see you, They are kind of noisy, but mine are great.

that means that they want something. it may be food, water, attention etc. if you're feeding your bird seeds, they don't eat the whole seed, they leave the hull (the outer shell that they cant eat) that looks a lot like an uneaten seed. if you blow in the cup of seeds and a bunch of stuff flies out at you, that means you need to refill their food cup. Make sure that they always have a source of fresh, clean water. if they want attention, take them out, talk to them, play with them etc. birds are a lot of work and not easy to take care of. for more information, i highly suggest that you subscribe to BIRD TALK, a great magazine about pet birds and their care. hope this helps! good luck!

if youre cockatiels are chirping, they might be bored. give them stuff to play with, or, for an easy fix, stick food in their mouths.
