She was with the stallion all winter not seperated at after the birth of her 1st foal until april or may of 2006. Then he was returned in the 1st week of June and no interest in breeding my mare just protective of her and her foal. Please help she is very pregnant and I am going crazy trying to figure this out. On all of my mares I could never see the foal move until around the last month of gestation. Generally around 9 months. After the foal drops then you can really tell and that is when you need to start watching the mare and think about putting her up or taking her to an area to be watch everyday.

Depending on the general location of her uterus. You can generally feel the foal moving around 8-9 months. First you will be able to feel around the udder/belly button area. At 4 months along you can hear the heartbeat with a stethoscope.
Good luck foaling!! 11 months will go by fast

your best bet is to get your vet out and have them do a palpation and they can give you a guess on how far along she is based on the foals position. most of the time you can see the foal moving and kicking sometime after they are about 6mo along. hope this helps.

i'm a known time "Gramma" as my Aurora in simple terms had her foal 6 weeks in the past. i ought to initiate seeing toddler circulate around the 6 month mark. It starts to grow to be large seen around the 8 month mark as there is far less area to circulate around. Get a vet in to do an ultrasound as they are in a position to slender down the gestation era of the place your mare is at. as quickly as you have that answer it particularly is going to be extra handy to hint down whilst to initiate foal watch. some very wide-spread clues that she is close is she "luggage up" meaning her milk bag starts to swell and the nipples drop. additionally watch around the nipples for waxing by using fact the colostrum starts to drip. on your mares hind quarters watch for that area to grow to be softer and extra jelly like once you touch it. it relatively is the pelvic muscular tissues relaxing to assist toddler come out. desire this facilitates!!

Hmmm, hard to tell not seeing her. I'd say atleast nine months.
To be sure, you could ask a vet, that's what I did when my pony was in foal. Best wishes!
