I put some tadpoles into my pond this year and they turned into warty toads.
They are now living in the gaps of my stone wal.
Will they all return to the pond to breed next year?l

I live in an aptartment that has neighbors on each side of me and above me. I rescued this wonderful dog from a shelter recently and have had no problems whatsoever until now. He is a great dog but there are times when I have to leave without him. I left today for 4 hours and left a recorder on while I was gone to see what would happen. When I got home he had been crying, howling and barking for about 2 1/2 hours on the tape. I am so worried if this continues that neighbors will complain and we will either have to move or get rid of him (which completely breaks my heart!) PLEASE help if you have any advice. I am at a loss.

Also, I left the TV on and I dont know if that made any difference.

i have had my boy cat for 6 years now and i tell you hes a piece of work. Ok one time coyotes chased him up the tree and i got rid of them because no one messes with my son and well sorry i think of him as my boy because me and my girlfriend have not had kids yet and to us cats are just gods little furry gift to us intil we have a baby. Ok hobbes gets chased up a 50 foot pine tree and i am there under the tree and hes to scared to come down so me being me climb all the way up and bring him down nothing beats having a scared kitty on the top of your head lol. So would you do the same for your kitty and is your cat your kid too?

I have a 3 week old puppy. She doesnt want to drink out of the bottle so i give her milk in a small saucer. Sometimes after eating she will throw up some milk. I took her to the vet and he told me that it is normal. He said to start giving her some solid food. But i talked to a friend who has had puppies before and she said it is too early to take the milk away. I dont know what to do. I was thinking about giving her milk once a day and the rest just feeding her puppy food. What do you think???

Our boy cat, Theo, is a long haired cat. We also have a girl cat, Madison, with short hair, but her ears don't smell. Sometimes when I'm holding Theo I notice it smells weird near his ears(inside his ears, I would guess, but I am not putting my nose inside to find out).
Would ear mites cause the ears to smell? He does scratch up near his ears a lot, but we've never noticed fleas. Also, Madison doesn't seem to scratch her ears.
Any ideas?

I have a 14 year old dog and he was just diagnosed with cancer in one of his legs. He has been my only companion for such time and I cant face the fact that he is going to let me.. Treatment is extremely expensive and I want to know if there is an association, organization or institution in Boston or the East Coast that can support me and give some kind of financial help in order to give him the treatment he needs.
